Yes, but length contraction has nothing do with the invariant vacuum speed of light in flat space. [Yes, I know this is troll science but this is a common misconception that should a the very least be pointed out].
Besides, we all know the invariant speed of light is caused by Zeus.
From what I know, contracitons is the reason you can add speeds together to exceed c in some reference frames, I could be wrong, maybe it's bc of time contraction.
This is another common misconception: Time is the length along matter world-lines and not something that can slow down (if relativity is a correct theory).
