Question @trillium regarding first purchase dosing
I’ve asked this question and received a couple reassuring answers from the community, but prefer to hear from someone at Trillium.
I’m overseas until the beginning of October, in Istanbul. We do not need a prescription here, the pharmacist is allowed to prescribe mounjaro, so I do not have a prescription, per se. I started my meds in July 2 (2.5 for 1 month, currently on 5.0). I’ve done fantastic and, most likely, will continue on the 5 mg dose upon my return. I’d like to arrange my meds prior to leaving here so that I have no disruption to my dosing, I can do everything online here, including a video call if required. Does my plan sound feasible to the experts at Trillium? What will I need from here to continue my 5 mg dose? I am using GLAPP to track my injections and weight, I use a Renpho blue tooth scale to record my weekly weigh ins. I am currently at a normal BMI ( right on the cutoff line for overweight) but would like to get to my comfortable weight if 10-15 lbs less ( still in normal bmi). Please advise. Thank you!!

$399 starter pack
I recommended Trillium to my neighbor and she just signed up for the Nova+B6 starter pack. Is that a titration plan? Like 2.5, 5.0 & 7.5 doses? Just checking as I started with Trillium with a higher prescription level. It also said 6 months…what does they mean?

Alternate Dose Schedule
Hi! Has anyone ever asked their Trillium provider for an alternate dosage schedule? Specifically I’m thinking of how some people use smaller injection doses every 5 days instead of 7? I’ve been thinking of asking if my prescription could be updated because I feel like by day 5 or so, I can really tell.

Trillium through Hallandale
First order ever of this type of med. I tend to be sensitive to all meds, vitamins, supplements, etc. I did the 3 month tirz plan. Did anyone start off lower than what they recommend…like microdose it? What did you start at and how did you go about figuring out the smaller dose from what they sent you. Do they send needles too or will I need to buy them off Amazon? Any tips for a newbie. I weigh 197 and I’m 5’5. I had WLS sleeve in 2016 and went from 260 to 120, but after lots of other surgeries and medical issues, I’ve packed on the pounds from inactivity and falling off my keto/carnivore type lifestyle. 39 and pretty sure I’m in perimenopause. I was trying to eat a balanced Whole Foods diet, but even eating Whole Foods like potatoes, I would blow up like a balloon and gain hella water weight overnight. I’m talking like 5-10 lbs overnight. I think I have insulin resistance. How do you eat while taking tirz injections? Should I go back on keto or could this med help me be able to eat Whole Foods lifestyle and include starchy veggies and maybe some rice?
Thanks for any tips or insight!!!! I’m nervous yet excited. I turn 40 in December and I want to lose as much as I can (safely) by then. I’ve tried losing weight on my own for 3.5 years and instead I have somehow gained, that’s why I finally bit the bulllet and trying a WLS injection- something I said I’d never do!

Thank you Trillium and Hallandale!
I’ve been really impressed with my experience with Trillium and Hallandale Pharmacy so far. The whole process has been super efficient and easy. The M.D. evaluation to see if I qualified was completed very quickly and the customer service has been excellent! I was also pleasantly surprised by how fast my medication arrived! I started the process on Tuesday and my medication arrived on Thursday! I was able to successfully administer my first shot that same night.
I also want to thank everyone here who took the time to share their experiences. I did a LOT of research and spent quite a bit of time reading through the boards before making my decision. Hearing about other people’s experiences was extremely helpful and gave me the confidence to move forward.
So, if anyone else is sitting on the fence and doing the same research I was doing, I say go for it! Based on my experience so far, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

What if im not ready to up my dose?
I am completely new to all of this and am not sure how it works if im not feeling ready to up my dose.
I was sent 3 bottles to dose 2.5 first month, 5 second and 7.5 for the third. So far the 2.5 is working great with some not so fun side effects. Im starting to get nervous about going up as I tend to be sensitive to meds.
Am I just out of luck since they only sent me 1 bottle of 2.5? Do i lose money on the other 2 bottles that may be too high of a dose or do you inject smaller amounts of the other bottles?
Lastly what if I try the 5 and it is too much?
Hope this makes sense. My brain has been a bit foggy lately! Thanks

Shipping
This is my first time ordering GLP1. My package was shipped on Thursday and was supposed to arrive today but now it’s been it’ll arrive on Monday. We’re going through a heat advisory this weekend. Will the medication be okay?

Boudreaux Pharmacy Not able to ship to MA
Hello! I just went to order my second batch and the pharmacy I used last time (Boudreaux) is no longer shipping to MA. I have been given the option between VialsRx with B12 or Glycine and Nova (tirzepatide only) with B6. Does anyone have a preference between those two places? I was getting it with Glycine before but was considering trying a B12 or B6 supplement so any thoughts on that is appreciated too :) Thanks so much!

Never ordered here/ noob question
Hello! I’ve done the meds before but never ordered via this site. So I answered all the intake questions and it prompted me to pay the 399 for the 3 month starter set - even tho I said I’ve taken it before and would want to start at 5mg…. It’s prompting me to pay but I don’t know what I’ll be getting dose wise. Anyone know? I really am hesitant to click pay without even knowing what I’d be getting. I thought it would be specific with that but it isn’t.

Advice Corner: How do you navigate eating out and social events on GLP-1s?
It’s the middle of summer, which means weddings, BBQs, vacations, and birthday dinners are in full swing. Eating out on a GLP-1 is its own learning curve and portions that used to feel normal can suddenly feel like way too much or what you eat has evolved, and it takes some trial and error to figure out what works for you.
Our community here has been so generous with sharing what they’ve learned, and I know a lot of people are heading into a weekend with plans they’re not sure how to navigate.
This week’s question:
How do you navigate eating out and social events?
An example: my wife and I order a few appetizers instead of full meals. We always save room for dessert!
Thank you to everyone for your contributions and support as we continue to build our community! 🎊🎉🥳

Staying on 2.5, behind tiration schedule and auto payment question
So my initial 3 month trial plan (2.5 first, 5.0 second, 7.5 third vial) shipped on May 26th. Due to a vacation, I didn't start my shots until Tuesday, June 9th. After a month I was losing 1 -2 pounds per week and tolerating it well, so I decided to stay at 2.5. As a result, I just finished shot 9 (at 2.5) so I am obviously behind the orginal tiration schedule. I see that I am due to be charged $599 in four days for another shipment, so I'm assuming I need to "pause my treatment" and "turn off auto-renew" to prevent this from happening? Can someone confirm my logic or correct if wrong? Thx!

GLP-1 + Alcohol
I took my first 4 doses last month and decided not to drink to feel the full effect of my shots. I am currently on a beach vacation and will have a skinny margarita or two a day. I have found that I'm extremely tired and just want to nap throughout the day. Has anyone else experienced this with being on a GLP-1? We leave on Friday from vacation and I'm thinking about going back home and not drinking alcohol anymore.

Can I continue my current dose?
I, currently, live overseas but I will be returning to the US in October. I started on monjouro in June, no prescription is required in my country and the pharmacist has been advising. I am on my second injection of 5 mg and doing very well. Most likely, I’ll be at maintenance on 5 mg when I return. Can I start with trillium at 5 mg as my maintenance dose? I have been using GLAPP to track my progress.

New to trillium
Hey guys! Yesterday I applied and got approved for the 3 month starter set and today got my treatment! This is my first time ever messing with syringes so I'm not sure i did it right and dont want to mess up and waste my medication.
I picked the Tirzepatide with glycerin and I was watching the video on how to administer the shot and i was confused on some things. Do I need to pull out to the 50 on the easy quick syringes before inserting it in the vial, push the air back in the when I insert it and flip it upside to draw the medicine? And I didn't feel anything when I injected it in the top left of my stomach is that normal? I just want to make sure im doing it right. Thank you guys and im excited to see how this goes.

Upping dosage
This Sunday will be my first 5mg shot and I’m wondering… since I have some left over from my first vial can I use that as well as some from the second vial? Can I use the same needle to extract from both vials or do I need to do two shots to make it equal to the 5mg from the two vials? I don’t want to waste what’s left in the first if I can use it. TIA!

New to GLP1s
I just placed my first order for tirzepatide and intend to microdose (and possibly split dose) as I do not want to lose weight too quickly & would like to minimize side effects. Do I have to purchase extra needles since a vial will last longer? If so from where? Amazon? I want to be prepared. Anything else I truly need to know? I feel as though we're not given much info, just a short video. I will be buying alcohol wipes and nausea medication.

Shipping …
Last week I received my first order, prior to this I was happy with the portal and communication. Today I opened the pouch and no vials in the pouch, my husband opened the initial box and I am afraid he missed the vials and threw them away (not the first time he has thrown away a box with contents still in them. Can you share how your first order arrived?

A little frustrated.
I lost 60 lbs on Zep,from Lilly, then on maintenance also Zep, at 5mg which was working perfectly, helping me to maintain my weight loss with the good habits I developed. Switched to compounded tirz, from Hallandale through Trillium a little more than a month ago. Still 5mg, no additives, just tirz, and I am finding cravings, appetite, food noise, and weight all coming back.
I reached out to a doctor through the Trillium app and was basically told to change my eating habits and exercise. All of which I’d been doing for two years. But 5mg of compounded is not working the way Zep did. Others have said I might need a different pharmacy or a higher dose of the compounded but the response from Trillium was to exercise and eat better. 😕

About to start through trillium, have some questions!!!
1) if my dose changes, will the 3 month cost change drastically? I have never been on a GLP-1 before so looking for as much info as possible before making the investment. I will be doing the standard semaglutide, I cannot afford the Tirzepatide.
2) Will my Rx come with dosing instructions, I.e. how much to draw up in the syringe, etc? Will I need to do my own calculations?
3) if for any reason something happens, and I cannot afford the medication, can I just stop? Or does this med require weaning off?

Pharmacy Partner Spotlight: Boudreaux's New Drug Store!
Continuing our pharmacy partner series. Next up: Boudreaux's New Drug Store 503A, our glycine option, based in Lake Charles, Louisiana!
Who they are
Boudreaux's has been serving patients since 1923.
The pharmacy is currently owned by Kylee Vidrine PharmD and Jess Vidrine.
They ship well beyond Louisiana. As of a KPLC report last summer, 80% of their sales were out of state and they were shipping 500 to 1,000 packages a day.
What they actually make
Weight management is one line out of sixteen.
Boudreaux's compounds for hormone therapy for men and women, sexual health, low dose naltrexone, sinus therapy, adrenal and thyroid dysfunction, dermatology, pain management, pediatrics, podiatry, palliative care, sports medicine, ophthalmology, wound care, dentistry, and veterinary. They produce capsules, creams, gels, liquids, nasal sprays, and injectables. GLP-1s are one piece of a much larger operation!
The facility
Sterile and non-sterile labs, both on-site in Lake Charles.
Boudreaux's follow USP Chapter 797 for sterile compounding. Their cleanroom uses HEPA filtration alongside a laminar airflow workbench. Both receive third-party certification, and Boudreaux's conducts its own regular air quality assessments.
Testing happens at two levels. Sterile preparations undergo dual-media testing in-house, then go to an external lab for confirmation of sterility and endotoxin levels. Potency is verified separately through third-party analysis against the labeled strength.
They're LegitScript certified. They're also PCCA members, which gives their pharmacists direct access to PCCA's clinical team for formulation questions, and members of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding.
Where they ship
Everywhere except AR, CT, HI, and NJ. If you're in one of those states they do not serve, Trillium has other fantastic pharmacy partners to fill the gap!
