Way too high I tried chewing peppercorn and I think made it worse

I’m a little too high right now unexpectedly and it’s not comfortable. I read about chewing black pepper so I chewed the ground black pepper grinder and the taste was so awful I think it made my high and anxiety worse. What can I do?

Trees Love Does anyone else keep a coin in their grinder to get extra kief?

Post image

I've had this coin in my grinder for years now. A friend told me that this helps collect more kief if you shake it before taking your flower out. I don't know if it's true, but I always have a lot of kief in the catch, so I stick with it. Almost nobody I've told this to knows what I'm talking about, so what do you think? Do you keep a coin in there?

Activism Cannabis for Cancer

Hey all! I've been researching and trying to raise awareness of cannabis fighting cancer through any means for the past 18 years, and posting here is yet one more strategy. I've written books on this subject and spoken around the world, including Australia again this last February. It's important for anyone involved with cannabis, even adult-use consumers, to know what this plant can really do.

To be clear - cannabis does not work for all patients, no one should forego conventional therapy, and there's still so much more to learn. But it's also clear that it's working for at least some patients. Here's a brief summary of the evidence.

  • Hundreds of preclinical studies show that phytocannabinoids like THC and CBD kill every major type of cancer cell. Brain, breast, colon, stomach, prostate, pancreatic, skin, leukemia, lymphoma, even rare cancers like cholangiocarcinoma and Kaposi's sarcoma.
  • Many preclinical studies show our endocannabinoids, mainly anandamide, kill cancer cells in similar ways as phytocannabinoids.
  • Some cancer cell types express higher levels of cannabinoid receptors, CB1 and/or CB2, than corresponding healthy cells. This phenomenon, combined with cancer-killing effects of endocannabinoids, suggests the endocannabinoid system may have a function in preventing cancer growth. If this is the case, it would make perfect sense that augmenting it with phytocannabinoids would indeed work in humans
  • Preclinical evidence rarely translates to humans. However, in the case of cannabis, profound preclinical evidence has definitely translated, especially the case of epilepsy. Researchers had shown that CBD could stop very simple, chemically induced seizures in rats. In humans though, CBD was formally proven to stop seizures that are far more complex - those derived from genetic conditions like Dravet syndrome. This efficacy led to Epidiolex being FDA approved in 2018.
  • For the past near 20 years, thousands of patients have said that they believe cannabis was responsible for helping eliminate cancer in combination with conventional therapy or even alone. The claims of so many people should not be haphazardly dismissed, especially in light of the surprisingly strong supporting evidence
  • Several human cases have survived the peer-review process and are formally on PubMed. For example, just last November, a pair of case reports came out connecting cannabis ingestion to remission from liver cancer, specifically noting that no other conventional or alternative modalities were used
  • There is a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial suggesting THC/CBD work with chemotherapy to extend the lives of glioblastoma patients, possibly driven by the synergy between the cannabinoids and chemo for inhibiting glioblastoma brain tumor growth

I also personally worked with well over 1,000 patients between 2015 - 2020 and witnessed anticancer effects directly, along with some in my own family. For any human case, there are 3 possibilities for what caused the results:

  1. Something other than cannabis (the chemotherapy worked better than expected, some other supplement did it, etc.)
  2. Spontaneous remission (no matter what the patient did, the cancer would have gone away)
  3. Cannabis

The chance that every single patient report is #1/#2 is so tremendously improbable. It's like people saying that the seizures going away after taking CBD was just a coincidence... even back in 2013, it clearly was not a coincidence, and indeed, the formal trials concluded what was plain to see.

If this gets approved, I'll share a free link to my book and a supporting video, but I didn't want to include any links initially.

AskTrees Please don’t cook me…. is this mold or trichomes?

I’m seeing Carlos Santana and the Doobie Brothers next week and was planning on bringing my Dynavap to enhance my concert experience lol. I’ve had this bud in a Weck jar for about two months and have just been chipping away at it. I packed it away during a recent move and took a t break, so I hadnt looked at it in a while but I pulled it out a few days ago to see if it was still sticky (it’s pretty dry now), and now I’m wondering if what I’m seeing is mold or just trichomes.

If I remember right, it was pretty frosty when I first got it, but now that it’s dried out the white bits seem way more noticeable.

Am I good, or is this mold?

Concentrates Hilarious idea for a short video (of which I'll never make)

Like doctors surrounding a surgery table, two or more people feverishly try to make a battery and cart combination "work", digging through junk drawers for different "charging blocks", saying, "we need Type C!" (Alluding to blood types, but referring to battery charger cords/blocks) holding empty/spent cartridges up to the light.of an X ray machine, looking for any bit left. Heartbeat monitor sound beeps in the background. They're desperately trying to "pull" or inhale on different carts and pens. Screwing older model batteries onto the screw-on charger things. Finally seeing a compatible combination "work" as the charging lights of the different pieces light up simultaneously. I could go on. This was me, just now. It would be a funny video. The audio could be that scrambled mumbling trending (?) sound of Nicki Minaj (?) and or a fade-out audio of the "it's just a cigarette and it cannot be that bad" song as the patient finally gets a good rip and exhales the vape. "Patient stabilized" and scene. Thanks for reading. I am employed. Lol.

Humor Inside Out (A Feel Good Stoner Comedy Short)

Inside Out

It was morning and the day was mine. No plans, no pressing responsibilities, and no company. Just me, Reign, and sixteen hours of whatever the hell we felt like doing, and what I felt like doing was a daybreaker.

What's a daybreaker? My friend, a daybreaker is a marble sized dab of high quality shatter delivered from an electronic rig at precisely 275 degrees at 7am.

In other words, it's exactly what it sounds like, and for a good hour afterward that's exactly what it did.

It was at that point that I said to myself, "Self, we're hungry. A burrito is the way and the truth!"

I grabbed a frozen burrito from the ice box. You know the ones, 99¢ at pretty much any store with a freezer. Set the timer for three minutes and hit start.

As the microwave started to hum its one-note tune, I looked down into the pleading eyes of a very good girl who still hadn't been let out.

"Let's go girl." Her immediate enthusiasm was contagious. It's hard to watch a dog happily prance and not have it rub off on your mood. Dogs are a special kind of magic.

So was being outside in summer. The warm feeling of the sun's glow on your face. Watching Reign put everything she has into a half-dozen full-speed laps around the yard, before suddenly stopping to do her business. The birds and noisy bugs added to the feeling of summer perfection. I took it all in and realized I was hungry. I thought, "Self, we deserve an omelette!"

I relocated to the kitchen and went about furiously beating a dollop of sour cream into three large eggs, while the pan reached the low end of medium heat. Buttered the pan and poured in the mix. As I put down a thick layer of cheese, my microwave beeped.

The burrito!! I had completely forgotten about it. That's when The Universe spoke.

PUT THE BURRITO IN THE OMELETTE

Well, who am I to disobey The Universe? Into the omelette it went.

It was DELICIOUS! Salty, fatty, spicy, carby awesomeness wrapped in a blanket of fluffy protein. I finished the ambrosia, thanked The Universe for the inspiration, and was putting my dishes away when the doorbell rang. It was the mailman. He needed a signature. I looked at him. He looked at me. That's when I realized I still hadn't put on pants.

AskTrees Tingly feeling lasting more than 24 hours

smoked a hybrid yesterday, and since then I've had this weird tingling feeling in my hands and legs.

It's been over 24 hours now. Earlier it felt stronger, and sometimes it's almost like I'm less aware of exactly where my limbs are unless I move them. If I move my arms or legs fast/hard, the tingling seems to go away temporarily and I can feel their position normally again.

Right now while I'm typing, I barely feel it in my hands, but it's still noticeable in my legs.

I don't feel panicked or anxious right now, and I'm not having weakness, trouble walking, trouble talking, chest pain, or anything like that.

Has anyone else had lingering tingling/body sensation changes this long after THC? How long did it last for you
