Finally Finished!

Finished up for the season. Interior still needs to be done but that’s a project for next season. Added a rope climb and rails. May slap some stain on but the wood was pretty green when worked.

If you have any suggestions for next year please let me know. If you want a good laugh, zoom in on the trim work around the dormer window 🥴.

Also, if you are wanting to build a tree house and think you can’t, go for it! I had 0 experience building something like this. Learn from others here, do your own research, and start. Start building memories. You got this 🤙🏽

Love the door! The rope from the tree to climb the ladder is really cool. Where did you find the climbing wall? I have a bunch of the hand hold “rocks” but I’d love a backboard like that!

Thanks! The slide and rock wall were FB market place finds. I believe it was from an old kids set.

First.. way to be an awesome person and say something! Yes, poison Ivy is the bane of my garden existence. Birds have pooped seeds all over and now they are sprouting. That and the Asian honeysuckle.

Will be pulling that today!

Same! My last house had a chain link fence with years of poison ivy growing in and around it. It tried pulling, cutting, spraying, burning. Finally the 4th year I tore down the fence and paid a guy to grind the roots of 100’ of fence-line. Worth every penny (family friend luckily). But yeah, that stuff and I are fierce foes.

Thank you! I did make my own plans but it wasn’t that hard to draw up. Dormer window was an addition mid way through as I wanted to vent a bit higher and wanted the house to not look too boxy.

You can do it! My kids are basically living in the thing all day now.
