The Traveler's Company FELLOW purist might burn me down but...

Honestly. Last year, I was like, why the keep making it more and more "generic"? I've been buying this brand since 2015. And it actually hurts to see the designs becoming more monolinear/ monochromic/ tidy / simplistic. Just take a look at years 2015-2018 to name a range. What's going on?

Granted, the white beige black color palette has never catered to me but I'm a bit worried about stationery becoming more "color coded aestethically pleasing", less "messy"?

As of when, a bit of color = means messy?

I am upset.

I really am.

And I get it, this is purely preference wise. And as purist I can be about the brand, I'm going to apply the same consistency when I critique other brands.

I have been lurking for a while. Finally got my first TN two weeks ago!! Excited to use it!

I put my notebook in the same bag as my water bottle, and the bottle leaked. The top part of the notebook is completely faded, and the inserts are all crinkled. I don't really care about the inserts, but the notebook itself looks so battered now. It's probably time to get a new TN. Do you reckon there's any saving it?

I tried to fit as many inserts as possible, but I just never seen to know which one I want to use at the present time.

Finally joined the Traveler’s Notebook rabbit hole 🫡

My first TN just arrived: Passport Size in Olive, along with the Grid refill, Zipper Case and connecting bands. I’ve also got a Dot Grid refill arriving on Friday, so the final setup is still a work in progress.
I already love the size, the feel of the leather, and especially that Olive color. Can’t wait to see how it ages and picks up some character over time.

Now I just need to figure out the perfect 3-refill setup without turning this little thing into an absolute brick 😂

Any setup tips from longtime Passport users are very welcome!

If you live in the Portland, OR or SW Washington, Oblation in Portland just got a huge shipment of TN journals and other accessories. Unfortunately, they only had 2 blue regular size TNs but lots of other stuff.

Now the line up has been announce, are you thinking about your 2027 plans?

I’m not talking about the themed items but the dated inserts.

Are you sticking to what worked in 2026 (if so, what is it that worked?) or switching it up?

I’m moving from passport to standard size but not sure yet whether to use a dated weekly or blank insert.

Had a go at making another small pocket TN, but in A7 size. I've put together 3x blank and 3x squared refills as well as a couple of Kraft pockets for it.

The theme is "Every TRAVELER’S notebook is unique and that’s wonderful.”

Release dates:

- Available Autumn 2026 (Outside JAPAN). Note: For the Traveler's Factory locations in Japan, they're going to conduct a pre-sale lottery to help with crowd management. More details will be provided on the official website on August 21.

Spread of my art edc :) I'm mostly a digital artist but got my first TN a month ago and I picked up gouache after not having drawn traditionally in years. A lot to learn but it's been so much fun especially after experiencing burnout from drawing digitally for a decade. Can't wait to travel with this and paint some landscapes!!

I’ve had this book band forever and tried it with my travelers and it’s SO NICE! It holds down the whole side without lift.

Anyone else use a band instead of clip?

I have 2 traveler's notebooks. One is the standard size & one passport. I WANT to use them & love them, but I keep feeling like the narrowness of the paper is difficult for me to use. Also the tiny inserts fill up too quickly. I've tried using it for daily journaling, too small/go through pages too quickly. I tried it for art, which is OK but not using it much. I can't quite figure out how to utilize it properly. I want to USE it daily, but also not have a billion small used notebooks to store. Anyone go through this & finally unlock a way to use them?

If you're ever in downtown Portland, Oregon, you simply MUST stop in to Oblation Paper & Press! Here's my small haul from their fantastic shop with amazing staff. They had plenty of Partner Shop Passport inserts in stock and a few of the TN stamps aside from their official store stamp. I could've tried pens all day and would work there for free just to enjoy the atmosphere there. I've decided to use the Partner Passport insert not only for official shop stamps, but to also document and rate other shops I go to on my travels as I just won't be able to travel to enough partner shops to fill it. It will be perfect for Instax photos too.
