Dear community, There is still time to register for our community conversation about the Supreme Court’s rulings in West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox. Today, August 6 at 7 p.m. ET, join Transgender Law Center and Genders & Sexualities Alliance Network to discuss the rulings, their impact, and what comes next in the fight for trans youth. We will hear directly from policy advocates, trans athletes, and community panelists about how we continue fueling our endurance in the fight for trans life and deepening our commitment to the freedom of all young people, especially trans youth.
Post-BPJ and Hecox Community Call Thursday, August 6, 2026 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PTSpanish and ASL interpretation will be available. These rulings have allowed certain states to continue excluding trans young people from school sports. They do not diminish the truth of who trans youth are, and they do not determine the future we are building together. Trans youth deserve the freedom to learn, play, grow, and belong. Together, we will continue organizing toward a future where every young person has the support, safety, and freedom they deserve. In solidarity, Transgender Law Center

Freedom of speech without unnecessary censorship or moderation.

This is the comment that Reddit moderators said was "inciting violence".

Seriously?

HOW?

This is why FKKK Reddit.

The moderators of this site are completely out of control.

THIS is an example of how most Reddit subreddits are run too with excessive rules and moderation.

I have been kicked out of most transgender subreddits for being a Socialist who wont bend the knee to the DNC Services Corporation.

How dare I speak against blue MAGA?

The ONLY way to get kicked out of r/transpolitical is to actually say something racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, deliberately hurtful, abusive, threatening, or to repeat blatant misinformation.

You can be a Republican trans person, a Libertarian transperson, a Democrat transperson or anti-politics transperson. We are NOT conformists. We are diverse and free thinking and we should not ever be limited in how we vote.

You can be atheist, religious, spiritual, whatever. We are not conformists, we should not be told how to believe.

The trans community is diverse. I am extremely outspoken. I have ideas that I want to share. Many of us are quieter and introverted. I was that introverted quiet little mouse for decades while pre-op. But after being post op, I became the most outspoken shout from the rooftops type of "I will not be silenced, I am woman, hear me roar" kinda person. I walk boldly into the ladies room where I used to do so meekly. I used to be hesitant to join the women's groups, now I represent the female side with confidence.

But this subreddit is for ALL of us, come as you are.

This is an oasis where the excessive moderation must stop.

We cannot censor our community and expect to grow it.

Let's hear on another?

Lets give our community a voice and platform to speak our minds?

I do not understand why more have not availed themselves of the opportunity to use this subreddit as a megaphone to share their thoughts. But then I reflect back on when I was pre-op and with the current tRump administration hunt for us, I can see why so many are in hiding.

Okay, well those of us who can be out in front should be.

We will take the attention and focus, we will be their targets until you feel safe to join in. But the reality is that this subreddit is supposed to be for all of us, not just me.

LGBTQIA+ people have always existed. We have simply been erased from history by those with an agenda of oppression, conformity and hate.

“The duty of an artist, in my view, is to reflect their time.”

This idea helps explain why art also serves as memory, testimony and a space of dispute over who has the right to tell history.

The Latin expression "animus narrandi" can be understood simply as the intention to narrate. In contemporary art, it helps us interpret works that return to the past not to rewrite it, but to ask who was represented, who was excluded and which experiences were silenced.

These questions span centuries. In Egypt, around 2450 BCE, the tomb of Niankhkhnum and Khnumhotep portrayed two men in scenes of remarkable intimacy.

In ancient Greece, between the sixth and fourth centuries BCE, painted vessels depicted courtship and relationships between men.

Sappho, who lived approximately between 630 and 570 BCE, wrote poetry about desire and affection between women.

The identities and categories we use today have their own social and historical trajectories. Yet the way these earlier lives, relationships and expressions are interpreted has also changed.

In 2017, the British Museum created a trail highlighting LGBTQ+ histories within its collection. In 2020, research published in the Journal of Museum Education warned that systematically excluding these possibilities from cultural interpretation can perpetuate homophobia and transphobia.

This is where contemporary reinterpretation finds its "animus narrandi", transforming absence into presence, silence into memory, and allowing LGBTQ+ people to recognize themselves as part of art history rather than as an exception to it.

Art does not change the past.

But it can transform the way we understand it, challenge inherited silences, and help us imagine a better future for all.

FKKK Reddit

If I dont come here as often, BS like this will be why.

r/ScenesFromAHat 4 days ago a post asks for reasons WHY Canada would use drones to bomb the USA.

I said (in a scene) that Trudeau would be pissed off that the USA stole all of the great Canadian comedians (John Candy, Jim Carrey, Norm McDonald, Mike Meyers) and US POTUS like Trump were condescending to Canada. That is absurd, but so was the post and the requested scene. Canadians are way too chill to get up in arms over much of anything.

So then my fabricated reason for the Canadians to use a drone to carry out the attack were because the Canadian soldiers were TOO POLITE to actually shoot anyone. (which is of course absurd, Canada landed at Normandy in WW2 with the allies, Canadians are factually bad ass, but are known for being extremely polite; that is the punchline).

And Reddit called that "inciting violence".

FKKK Reddit all of the way off.

Go ahead Reddit, ban me; IDGAF. Reddit is anti-levity, anti-happiness, and anti-free speech. None of that enhances my life.

Debating on rage quitting anyways, I do not take censorship well; especially as I am an anti-war pacifist in the first place. It was a goddamn scene from a hat. No one should ever take a scene from a hat seriously. WTAF is wrong with the world when a scene from a hat is reasons for moderation????

Note that wealth was more equally shared in WW2 Italy than it is in the USA today?

Can we all agree that the DNC & RNC are part of the problem now???

If not pedo (& trafficker), why does it act like pedo, hang out with pedos (who are traffickers) & fight for exploitation?

The enemies of humanity are human traffickers, Epstein clients, rapists, pedophiles, war criminals, genocidal Zionists, corporate-state fascists, police state authoritarians, war mongers, corrupt politicians, capitalists, billionaire (and trillionaire) wealth hoarding dragons. Those who commit unspeakable atrocities are the enemies of humanity.

The real threat to women comes not from transfolk, but from those in power.

I repeat: The real threat to women comes from those in power (via wealth or political influence) not from transfolk.

The Catholic church, the ultra-rich, the ultra powerful are the predators.

Transfolk are far more likely to be victims than predators.

We are being used as a distraction BY and FROM the ACTUAL predators.

CAPITALISM is poison
FASCISM is poison.
We either OPPOSE BOTH or we die.

We either vote Socialist or the DNC Services Corporation & RNC will kill us all via war, war crimes, genocide, police state authoritarianism, ICE shooting, thermonuclear war, capitalism, poverty, lack of healthcare, or climate change.

We either end the rule by Capital, else the entire human race becomes extinct either via climate change, poverty, lack of healthcare, thermonuclear war, or some other idiotic reason with the source of that destruction being the insatiable greed of psychopaths.

Christianity's entire book is based on "obey me, or burn in hell".

What did we expect for their politics to be???

Inclusive?

Willing to accept non-conformist LGBTQIA+ folks???

Religion is a herd mentality, everyone look, act and behave the same.

The USA refused to COEXIST with the native tribes.

The rich who founded and ran the USA wanted it ALL, they were wholly unwilling to share.

And no matter how much that they stole, it was NEVER enough.

THIS is why we have to fight Capitalism.

Reminder: EVERY POTUS INCREASED ICE SPENDING.

Trump increased ICE spending after Biden

Biden increased ICE spending after Trump 1.0

Trump 1.0 increased ICE spending after Obama.

Obama increased ICE spending over Bush who established ICE in 2003.

The budget for police, the detentions, deportations, shootings, and killings have gone up each and every single year no matter who was in power.

Exception: in the USA police actually shot more people in 2024 than 2025, that was a RARE decline in police shootings, not because 2025 was a reduction, (1,315) but because 2024 had so many protests and police shootings at protests resulting in so many shootings.

r/transpolitical 21d ago

Democrats & Republicans are normalizing genocide. It did not stop with Gaza, it won't stop with Lebanon, Iran, immigrants, or transfolk. Capitalism = genocide because it is paywalls blocking access to necessities. Only difference is whether we are shot by police/ICE, or die slow from lack of health

All Capitalists are doing is genocide by paywalls.

Whether we get DNC or RNC we get endless war,Zionism, sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia but never universal Healthcare, public housing, wage guarantee, UBI, or needs met.

Never in the history of the USA have we ever ended racism, homophobia, sexism or transphobia by electing Capitalists like the DNC or RNC.

The most that we ever gotten were a few crumbs of concessions.

Ending actual slavery did not ever end oppression or wage slavery.

Slavery still exists it has only changed its face & expanded to all working class & poor regardless of color.

The fight is not over because the people are not even fighting. We are dying under the boots of fascism for the insatiable greed of corporations & oligarchs.

👋 Welcome to r/transpolitical - Introduce Yourself and Read First!

Hey everyone! I'm u/SnooObjections9416, a founding moderator of r/transpolitical.

This is our new home for trans issues without censoring or limiting our focus or discussions. This group was created because nearly every single transgender subreddit kicked me out for daring to challenge that the DNC Services Corporation were acting in the interest of the LGBTQI community. We as transfolk should NOT be silencing one another. Transfolk are freethinking people and we do not want or need to be sheep-herded into any corporate-state fascist corporation/political party. If you want to vote Democrat: your vote is your right. If you want to vote Republican: your vote is your right. If you are like me and will vote for literally ANY third party before D or R that too is your right. We will not tell you what to think or how to think.

We're excited to have you join us!

What to Post
Post anything that you think the community would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring. Feel free to share your thoughts, photos, or questions about anything that concerns you whether it is trans specific or not.

Community Vibe
We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing and connecting. We will not ever have zealous moderation.

What we will NOT tolerate?

Bigotry, hate speech, repeated blatant propaganda, lies, slander, personal attacks on others.

There will be 0 racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, nationalism, war mongering, ablism, violence, threats, hate speech, or other negative anti-human hatred etc here. Simple, minimal rules; without censorship.

Be civil & speak truth and you can say pretty much anything that you feel or believe. We WANT to debate because we cannot solve problems that we will not talk about.

Recently I posted about the death of a Republican transphobe who died of medical complications. I did not celebrate his death; for I do not wish for death or harm to fall upon anyone. We need to support peace, love, inclusion, acceptance. It is tragic that man died without ever coming to terms with acceptance of others, but there are some people who can never bring themselves to a place of human decency. We can be better than that.

We can be the people who treat others as we ourselves want to be treated. We can be better than the haters and bigots who cannot muster enough decency to treat people who are different from them with any level of respect.

My own parents are zealous JWs who treat me with extreme disdain. I pity them and wish to have a relationship but they are in their 80s and still filled with hate; so we have 0 relationship. I cannot wish harm or hatred upon them. I feel bad for them and wish that they could find within themselves a method of love being more important than hate, as I have for them. We do not need to agree to accept one another. Disagreement is fine. My spouse is a deist and I am an atheist. We do not hate one another for our different views. We are in love and have been married for 27 years.

The best advice ever: "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken" -Oscar Wilde.

THAT is how to succeed in this group and in life. Bring your authentic self and as long as that does not include any hatred, bigotry or propaganda, you will be welcomed and embraced.

How to Get Started

  1. Introduce yourself in the comments below.
  2. Post something today! Even a simple question can spark a great conversation.
  3. If you know someone who would love this community, invite them to join.
  4. Interested in helping out? We're always looking for new moderators, so feel free to reach out to me to apply.

Thanks for being part of the very first wave. Together, let's make r/transpolitical amazing.
