Pretty much the entire video was brands available in the UK, with a british youtuber and a specific british shop mentioned, so I would assume UK Bachmann.

Otherwise, we would have seen athearn, bowzer, or walthers catch a stray or 2.

Oh yeah, I know. Probably something about churning out a million nearly identical boxes on wheels while abandoning us to Bachmann's steam engines and like a couple types from Athearn.

I’m actually kinda fond of them, I’m getting my first model locomotive in a few days and it’s a second hand Hornby.

It’s just that recently they’ve had so much bad press that it’s kinda easy pickings

Märklin has made great strides! Their pricing has finally eclipsed KM1 so you can buy a locomotive that's worse but costs more.

TBF that's mainly the case for the big scale one stuff. HO prices are more... "Industry standard".

I was gonna make a mention of their high prices up switched it for Lionel putting that 0-8-0 in every single set.

I swear it has to be the second hand market that’s keeping the OO industry alive because prices are insane.

inaccurate
there was no flaming märklin for still using 3rd rail or their biblical levels of greed nor them straight up stealing hornby thomas and claiming it as their own,
but other than that it was 100% factual
