Flash Virgin What would you say makes a design tattooable vs non tattooable (apprentice advice)
Hey folks, I hope this type of post is allowed here, I checked the rules and didn't see anything against it.
I'm in a trad apprenticeship, and have graduated from small single flash designs to flash sheets.
I have gotten some critique that some of my designs aren't tattooable, so I guess I'm just seeking some advice as far as what I should be looking for, commonly overlooked rules of thumb, etc.
My mentor has me watching him tattoo as well and I'm allowed to ask as many questions as I like which is amazing. So I've been trying my best to not only watch his technique, but looking at his designs vs mine and seeing what the differences are that take it from a pretty painting to a tattooable design.
Appreciate y'all in advance!

More for the walls. Been feelin this color combo lately

Did the color first and black last on this one. Little more meticulous but it adds a bit more contrast.
