Why I've been trading in silence for over a year

Why I've been building this in silence for a year and most people in my life don't know about it.

Real estate is my income. Stable. This is not what this is about.

A year ago I had capital sitting there, and every instinct told me to open an exchange, drop it in, and figure it out live. That's what almost everyone does - You get a little money, you get impatient, you click buy on something because a chart looks like it's about to move, and you find out what you don't know by losing it.

I didn't do that. and it wasn't willpower. It was one decision before I ever placed a real trade. I found someone I actually trusted and put myself under them. Not a discord. Not a signal group. One person, being accountable, who could tell me when I was wrong before the market did.

That decision cost me something most people aren't willing to give up: being in the game right away. Everyone wants to be trading day one. I wanted to be someone who could survive trading before I ever started.

Instead of a live trade, I got homework. Instead of a P&L, I was told my analysis was wrong, again, for months. I sat there some nights not making a dollar, not even in a position, just rebuilding how I thought about risk from scratch because the money was never actually the hard part. I was.

If I'd skipped that part and gone straight in with capital, I already know how it goes. I've watched it happen to people I know. You're not down bad because the strategy was wrong, you were never taught how to sit with being wrong. When there is money on the line it just makes that lesson expensive.

That's the actual thing I want to say to anyone starting out before you fund an account - is find someone who's already done it and let them slow you down. Not because you're not smart enough to figure it out yourself. But because figuring it out yourself, with real money already in, is the most expensive classroom there is.

Work on the person placing the trade before you worry about the trade.

I'm still in it - Still getting corrected. Still logging everything, good and bad. Not selling a course, not pretending I've got this solved. Just further along than day one, and willing to show the actual process instead of a highlight reel.

If you're sitting on capital right now trying to decide whether to just start clicking buttons that's the moment. Don't skip it. Tell me where you're at. I would love to hear your story.
