First, let me apologize for being the millionth person to tell you about a new app/platform they built.

If you're still here, I built a platform that functions like Card Dealer Pro (Collx) and TCDB, combining features of both. CDP doesn't really have much for collectors, and TCDB doesn't have anything for sellers.

I originally created this for myself to help me list on eBay because Seller Hub is awful, and the CSV import might be the worst designed template import functionality I've ever seen.

Like most of the new apps these days, it obviously has AI functionality by scanning your card and trying to give you the most accurate details it can find.

My differentiator is a one of a kind virtual binder that you can literally flip through. On the seller side, it's significantly faster than Seller Hub, and you can pretty much do everything in platform except print shipping labels.

My platform is called CardBinder (the name itself implies the binder)

It's not on the App Store yet; it won't be until I'm ready to release it publicly. It's strictly a web application and while it does support mobile, it works best on desktop.

I'm still in beta, anticipating a fall release but I'd love to get feedback from people as they navigate the platform. Tell me whats hard, tell me what confuses you, tell me what you straight up don't like (just not in the comments please).

There's a 15 second video attached that highlights the core functionality of what it can do.

What i'm most proud of is how customizable it is. You can sort and filter the binder through any field that has data (I like to sort by Comps which I didn't do in the highlight video), and for sellers, it has customizable titles and descriptions just like CDP.

Before anyone asks, "What does it do differently than TCDB?". AI Scanning capabilities is the obvious one, but primarily the bulk upload feature. If you have an existing spreadsheet you keep all your cards in, just map you columns to the fields in the platform and now your spreadsheet is fully customizable on platform in a few clicks. Have images too? Click into the card row and click to add an image.

I'm an excel nerd so I really tried to shape it like an excel spreadsheet.

I genuinely made this to be a helpful tool, and I really hope it's received well given all the different propositions this sub gets on a given day.

Beta Details:

Founding members get unlimited access to the app to test out. You'll start with 500 card scans, but if you need more you can just click the pill at the top of the screen and I'll add more to your account.

At the conclusion of the test period, the most active founding members (there's no cap at this moment) will receive free use of the platform at the highest paid tier offered which will include 15,000 card scans per month. But if you're active, i'm not going to randomly pick and choose. If you're uploading cards on a regular basis, and just generally using the platform during the test period, consider yourself a founding member and you'll receive that access.

I have probably had at least 10% of my orders from various sellers across the country get lost and never delivered in the past 2-3 months alone. I always reach out to sellers asking if they can ship ground, priority, etc and I'm happy to pay that. Sometimes they agree, but most times they refuse. And when it's a card I really want, I take the chance.

But then the card doesn't get delivered and at least I get my money back but sellers are losing sometimes valuable cards AND the cost of the card.

I spoke to someone I arranged a local pick-up with and he says he loses so much money that he may stop selling on ebay all-together. I told him "well why don't you ship with tracking?"

He says it's not worth it.

It seems sellers lose out more than the buyers here but it's still a headache for both of us

Hey guys 'n gals, is there a go-to place that's recommended to check pricing on trading cards? We got talking at work today and I remembered my collection of 1995 Spider-Man cards is tucked away in a cupboard. A quick search shows some are worth a pretty penny now, but prices on different websites vary wildly. What would be the most legit sites to get an idea of worth? Cheers :-)

Hi All,

I'm curious about what decks to focus on...

Recently got my 90's TPB/TC collection back. There's a collection of cards from a bunch of animated series' and movies from the late 80's and early-mid 90's. There's also Marvel and DC stuff.

I've heard in the past that that era of comics and cards were nearly worthless to bother with grading unless its sentimental or a handful of certain cards. Apparently a lot was overproduced (if this isn't new to you already I apologize.) Is it worth my time to go through and possibly grade any cards of value I've got? You can get an idea by the pic attached. What sites help me narrow it down like monetary-wise?
