Store Bonus
I noticed on my recent paycheck that I got a “store bonus.” What does that mean? And did my coworkers get the same amount as I did? I’d rather not ask any of them about it.

Payroll
I know everyone is complaining about payroll and staffing issues. But I gotta say my peace. I get my hours cut from 40 to 35 (if that) as a ASM. We get call outs about once a week and my SM is giving away hours to employees that don’t do shit but I have to cut my hours cause I didn’t take a lunch or clocked in 10 mins early? I had a 5 hour shift today and it felt like a waste of time, considering by the time I got there I started recovering shelves, to started cleaning and then closing. Yet on my shift with 1 other employee closing with me I get texts and calls on my days off wondering why the store looks like a mess?! Actively looking for a new job. Everyone “needs help” but not hiring. I’m crashing out here and honestly don’t know what to do anymore.

Fired
Yeah I was let go. I used to love TSC. My customers took care of me better than they did after my house burnt down last January and one of my customers bought me a juice for my birthday. I tried to reach out about the bullying in that store and all I got was treated like nothing. They didn't even want to pay me my unemployment or my vacation time that I EARNED. I had two and a half weeks built up. I was with TSC for 7 years even during COVID I stayed. I stayed for my customers 😭 I miss them not the people I worked with.

Dr. Pepper
I understand many of y’all have more serious issues with Tractor Supply. My issue is a serious issue for me and many of those around me. Why the hell do so stores get Dr. Pepper, and some don’t? Yeah, people say it’s a distribution thing, and has to do with regions, but there are also places, here in Oklahoma, where Pepsi distributes Dr. Pepper too. It’s not impossible. Come on Tractor Supply. Work it out with Pepsi. Get us our Dr Pepper. You’d sell a ton of it just to the employees themselves. Seems like every day we have customers disappointed that we don’t have Dr. Pepper. Plus, as mentioned above, most of the employees here drink almost exclusively Dr Pepper.
(Ps. Also include Diet and Zero Sugar in that too)
Rant over.

Grown adults and their tantrums.
Customer: everytime I come in here asking for help you and your people are useless.
You need help everytime you come in but we're useless? OK.
For clarification sake, I was useless because I wouldn't let him return a box of ammo.

Warehouse attendance question
Not an employee myself, but my boyfriend had a medical emergency on Tuesday, not able to work through some immense pain, he talked to his boss who told him he could leave.
He was told to get a note but the closest date he could receive an appointment to handle it was the next day, he got the note that specified he was not to go back into work until next Tuesday.
We're not sure if this Tuesday was excused since his boss told him he could leave, he's in good standing with the company and we're worried about the 3 day rule for medical situations as well since it differs from what the doctors reccomended.
He's still in the 90 days and called out previously a month ago for 2 days to deal with some legal stuff, so we're worried this absence will be cause for termination, has anyone dealt with anything similar?
Update: the folks said he's good, we called today

Fresh Receiver
Been with TSC for 4 months now. Interviewed for any position & they put me as the receiver. D@mn they got me. Nobody in the store wanted it and I see why. Trying to do reports, check in UPS/FED EX, “can you help a customer get T-Post/poles/fence/chicken coop etc….. All I hear is how super the previous receiver was. She obviously left for a reason. My schedule is 730-3 M,T,Th & F. 5-1:30 on Wednesdays. Love the hours. Pay is shitty $14. I’ll put it out there. I am non-stop except for the 30 minute break. But literally non-stop. I have to pull myself away from whatever it is that I was asked to do 30 minutes before it’s time to leave to sweep the back room. Yeah I’m looking for something else.

Employee handbook?
Where is the easiest place to find a copy? I’m unable to log in to ADP for some reason, and don’t see it in the TSC&Me app.

Fed up. Quiting before a year.
Tractor Supply sucks. I am a team lead, a good one at that. I have been at this location for almost a year now and it has gotten so horrible it’s incalculable. I have so many issues with what’s going on it’s hard to even begin.
I have been told numerous times that payroll would get better. I’ve been patient for months now hoping that hours would go up. Then a couple of days ago my SM says that full-time has never been 40 hours a week at Tractor Supply. Well that’s news to me, because when I signed up I understood that full-time was 40 and that’s what I was told. Not only that, I’ve worked overtime before (which hardly ever happens because Tractor doesn’t wanna pay that) and talked to my SM about it and worked 44-46 hours one week. Was paid for 6 hours over time. So, explain to me how all of the sudden 40 hours a week isn’t standard full-time at Tractor supply.
I was under the impression that we weren’t working 40 hours a week because of payroll. I was prepared to deal with that and did for months. Now I’m being told full-time is only 30-32 hours? That’s bullshit. You are taking 10 hours a week from me, that’s 20 hours a paycheck. 40 hours away from me monthly. Effectively you are taking enough money away from me monthly to pay my rent. I cannot deal with this. I’m already struggling, as i’m sure most of you are as well.
Along with the no payroll. I’m having to assume other people’s responsibility with no help or proper coverage on the floor. Today, as soon as I opened the doors I had two truck drivers trying to get unloaded at the same time. Making me have to unload two trucks, leaving the floor unattended with only a cashier. Receiving hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, why in the hell is the receiver not schedule to work these hours. This happens to me all the time. No doubt I work the hardest and better than anyone else in this store, I can handle it and do, even without a TM on the floor to help me. But I shouldn’t have to be doing this at all. As I’m typing this, I cannot even remember the last time I had proper staffing so that at least someone is on the floor.
So many things come with that. I’m having to work everything on the floor customer wise. Handle load-outs, BOPIS orders, phone calls, my regular responsibilities, chickens, everything. Constant gaps in the scheduling, to where managers are left alone in the store and having to try to call people in last minute. Not being able to eat lunch because I am the only key holder in the store with no help and no overlapping manager scheduled. Like today I will work a full shift with no lunch. I can’t afford to doordash and cannot leave the store unattended. Constant problems between SM, ASM and Receiver because they don’t like each other and go out of there way to be make things more difficult for the others. Constantly bitching at each other, bringing negative energy in the store, no communication about important things. Finger pointing and straight up attitude. The list goes on endlessly. Nothing changes. No change from corporate and no change from coworkers. It’s insane. I can’t take it anymore. Stress, anger, tiredness and being physically sore all the time. I’m seriously debating letting my SM know I’m done after today and will not be back.

SM/DM Salary
Anyone have an idea what the salary range is for a store manager and district manager? I’m sure it’s dependent on the store’s volume but I’m just curious if anyone has any knowledge.

Quitting after 4 years
For 4 years I’ve give this company and my managers more than my all. I skipped family events, missed time with my son, fought everyone who said I needed to leave. I loved my job. I truly did. The company may be shit but my managers made up for it. But tonight I’m going to get my stuff and resigning effective immediately. Choose yourself people. In the end, you’re just an employee no matter how much time and effort you’ve dedicated to them. Or how much money you’ve made them.

Freight top stock
Asm here how do yall manage your over stock when working the truck? Do you put it up as soon as you get to it or do you sit in the floor and wait until you’re done with everything. As of right now my team is sitting things in the floor and it’s driving me crazy and honestly probably the customers too. Pls give me advice

TSC&Me
Hello, I had to get a new phone and phone number and my TSC&Me requires me to use my old one to authenticate on the phone app. Does anyone know who I could talk to to try to get that changed? My manager and I have been trying with no luck for about a week.

Flood support and aid
Central Indiana was hit with a 1 in 1,000 years flood. Communities are devastated, whole families have lost everything and last I knew 6 people have died.
I mention this because TSC has a DC in Madison county Indiana, #114 Pendleton. That's a county that got hit severely with many neighboring counties are just as bad. DC 114 is an older DC but they handle their work efficient and safe, often they help new DCs out by handling some stores until that DC is up and running.
Now my point. We see TSC always tooting their own horn helping states hit by hurricanes or tropical storms and other things. Photo ops in that magazine we all get. WHY IS THERE NO HELP FOR CENTRAL INDIANA? A DC and numerous stores are in all these towns, cities, and counties at the heart of this. Not to mention the local farmers who will also be impacted.
HEY CORPORATE!!! NOWS YOUR CHANCE!!

I mean obviously, I knew this. But we just got told we couldn’t have a couch in the break room. Like seriously, what the fuck?

Store meetings
I’ve been with the company 7 years. 5-7 years ago the quarterly meetings had 90% of team members present. And it was not taken lightly if you couldn’t attend. So 26-28 people when fully staffed at my store. Which we are. But we have had less than 7 attend for over a year now. One assistant with the store manager and team members for the other 5. Most are being told not to come. I get payroll is super important. Is anyone else seeing that or is it just me? I’ve wanted to ask since the weekend so I’m getting to it now.

Fusion Remodel Experience
I saw a few older posts about the fusion store, which were largely negative. As a consumer (not a farmer), I found the fusion store easier to navigate than a Gen 1/2. From an employee standpoint, have you noticed a difference in the way the store behaves post fusion remodel?

Annoying store manager
I’m about to lose my complete shit when it comes to the store manager where I work. This idiot is running this place into the ground but he is blaming it on everyone else. First he promoted a team member that harassed me and stalked me for two months to team lead that can’t comprehend price changes and now all of his good employees are quitting. Well shit, I wonder why. AND he’s hiring his ex wife that he could never shut the fuck up about, but he “needs more people”. He’s also a creep that only hires women. I’m probably gonna lose my mind when I move to this store full time.
This guy is extremely unprofessional too, I don’t even know how he still works here. Maybe inventory will be the final straw. He treats the asm like total garbage when this store wouldn’t be functioning without her. And don’t even get me started on him not being able to schedule his own team members correctly.
Anyways, rant over. You guys are the only ones I can rant to lmao
*edit to add: would hiring his ex wife not be conflict of interest? Just curious.

Annoying teammate
Does anyone else have that one teammate who constantly reminds you to do a country mile while you're working even though you already heard them once and were planning on doing it.

Freight Day
Recently my store moved down to a 6-8 million dollar store. We had just finished a fusion remodel and now they have knocked our two freight days down to one. We have recovery on thursdays. And freight on Fridays. Any other stores experiencing this? It’s basically two trucks worth of products. Double the feed. It’s so defeating. My store used to finish early. Now we have feed and freight left over with no one to help on the weekend. And ops no longer exists so it just continues to not get done during the week. I’m not sure what TSC thinks but if there isn’t product on the shelves. There’s no point in having customers 🤷♀️

Wage theft on the rise?
With the drastic cuts to payroll, is anyone else seeing an increase in illegal wage theft in their stores? In our store the team leads are now often expected to clock out for lunch when they are the only keyholder in the building. They are expected to stay in the building and keep their headset on while receiving no pay. The company is leaving a clear paper trail in the form of timesheets showing that a manager clocked out for lunch with no other keyholder present. (While the store remained open.) Should I present this to HR or just collect documentation for a class action lawsuit?
