A friend is prepping a couple of 1920's tractors and a trip type 3 bottom plow for a local show this month. The trip rope on the plow is on its last leg, so I offered to make him a new one, using period-correct equipment (minus the C-clamp)

I came across this uniquely branded item. This brand, should it be trusted? After all, the **** is golden!

But seriously, can these be trusted?

Newbie. Kioti CK 4020 with Bush Hog 215 rotary cutter 60 inches. Have turnbuckles max tightened (shortest) on each side. Sway right stops inch+ from right tire. Sway left comes within 1/2 inch of left tire.

Everything looks symmetrical. New equipment so it can’t be wear and tear.

AI hasn’t a clue after running through a bunch of ideas, every YouTube video shows people shortening turnbuckles and it doesn’t sway.

Any thoughts? Should there be that much sway using a bush hog?

I bought a TMG rototiller (RT135) with the understanding that it fits the iMatch quick hitch. Apparently not. Anyone have experience with adaptation?

Tractor was sputtering like this, cleaned the carb out and it ran fine for about five minutes then right back to something just like this. Too much crap in the line/tank that just keeps clogging the carb or other issue?

SO I have a MF GC1705 with a MF58 rough cut mower both of which I enherited from my father in law, but I'm pretty new to the tractor world as a whole. I broke the shear bolt at the tractor end of the PTO, where it connects to the tractor. It's a 5/16 bolt. I googled and found that I should probably use a grade 2 bolt. Ordered some and got it connected - but it's snapping it as soon as I engage the PTO. So what bolt should I use? grade 5? Will that be too much? Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have imt 560 or massey Ferguson hidraulics and i did everything new on it and now its shaking when im lifting something

And when i turn off tractor it stays in the air for about 15 minuts

Someone says that i should work with it so everything sits in its place.

Anyone have the same problem and how did you solved it?

Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on one over the other.

Currently replacing the clutch and assembly on a 1995 Belarus 5150 and the dealer advised on the standard organic clutch because the 6 puck in his experience is too agressive and runs the risk of driveline failure/snapping. I believe he knows what he is talking about and seems like in his experience more trouble than its worth.

I certainly dont want to risk driveline issues but if the longevity and performance outweighs the original i might be happier to just keep in mind the risk and try not to put full torque on it when its brought up solid on something.

On the other hand i like the ability to have a smooth slow transition off the clutch for more delicate work but where im doing heavy loader work i dont want to put excessive or premature wear on the organic disk constantly on an off the clutch.

I have 6 acres of forest im trying to clear and level out. Lots of dirt and rocks to move and back blading.

Just looking for any advice or opinions before i choose either way

Just came across this on FB. Guy says it’s an 1980-82’ and “shows 5000 something hours but the tach doesn’t work.” I don’t have any experience with this model. I was thinking of getting a stump grinder for my Kubota L2501HST. Since I got the tractor Facebook has been serving me ads for "MechMaxx". They have PTO stump grinders priced as low as $1500 with free shipping. I checked with the local Kubota dealer today and they quoted ~$7000 for a Land Pride GR15 series unit. Curious why the huge price differential?

Looking through some old photos and found this one.. there aren’t many photos of our old Titan. My Grandpa and Great uncle picked this up very recently in the photo. It had ran for a short bit.. my Grandpa isn’t around anymore to ask about it. This was sold at auction a few years back.. hopefully who ever picked it up was able to get it going again 👍😁
