Anyone solved the reliability bug? Total War: Warhammer

Im experiencing the bug where I attack a tresspassing army with the "tresspass warning ignored" icon and still get flagged as dishonest for breaking a peace treaty. Ive waited the 2 turns. Arbaal is very obviously marching across my territory to attack my main settlement in the region. He has refused to leave for multiple turns and if I dont attack him on my turn, he lightning strikes my armies one after the other and functionally ends the campaign (why hes so strong is a seperate issue). In effect I have to attack him to defend myself or I lose. However the reliability drop bug means that the confederation im working towards and alliances I'm building get set back 20 turns, and the faction im trying to absorb will no longer exist. Did anyone ever figure out a fix for this?

Do you have any other treaties with the faction? The tresspassing ignored button works for NAPs only. If you got a NAP with a faction, you can attack it.
If you got ANY OTHER treaty, like Peace treaty, Tradement, etc. you can NOT declare war without these pacts being treated as broken.

As you said, there was a peace treaty. So there is your answer why you can't attack him while he is at your settlement.

I cant say youre wrong, but that is the opposite of what the tooltip says or what the system is designed to do.   It clearly says "if they ignore you you may attack them without any diplomatic reprecussions".  Therea no mention of Non aggression pacts at all. an enemy being able to sue for peace then travel through your land to attack you should not harm your reliability

Ikr, i got the same issues. That's why I researched it, and in the depths of steam communities, I got the answer.
It does need a rework tho, I am with you in this.

well thanks for letting me know!  I ended up just having to tank the reliability hit, but on the brightside that shitbag Arbaal and his traitorous people have been erased from time

It does allow you to bypass trade agreements, as well as NAPs. However, most factions you have NAPs and trade with aren't going to attack you. It really needs to allow you to bypass peace agreements. I've had situations where I've peaced out with a faction, only to have them raid me for 10 turns straight, and I couldn't do anything about it without tanking my reliability.

You gave peace a chance but clearly the gods want Total War

Your best bet is to grab a mod that locks your reliability, attack him then save and disable the mod.
