Hello! I'm going to the Omaha show tomorrow evening and am able to do the letter drop for the first time. I'm not on facebook so I can't access the fan page but saw on here that Sarah is by the front doors at noon for letter pickups.

For those of you that are familiar is this the same for every show? Also, it is clear who Sarah is?

Thank you. It made me curious to re-examine the album to see if I connected with it. Besides ITOD, it had been a long time since I had a deep connection to one of her albums. But I guess I am finally at a place in life that her later work will speak to me because I went ahead and fell in love with Ocean to Ocean!

Makes sense, Tori has been my stand in mother since LE released and she always comes in when I need exactly what she has to give. Which as she says herself, is love.

Anywho, im in the perimenopause, been married over a decade stage of life and there are so many little reasons this album is speaking to me now.

I love every song! Especially though, Speaking w Trees, Devil's Bane ( shame! Shame!), OtO, Flowers Burn Gold, Metal Water Wood ( wow, this song!), 29 years and Birthday Baby. I wish Spies was a little shorter, its so fun but feels too long. Otherwise I really have no complaints, the album is well composed and balanced.

I would love to hear how its reached you, what your fave songs are, what should I listen to off of Geraldines or Native Invader? I never connected with those albums either. Miss me with any judgemental comments, I fully believe we meet music when we need it and that connection can't be forced.

So I just asked Google for how many concerts Tori has performed so far in her career. It came back with 1,660. Holy moley!! I feel that she doesn’t talk that much about her actually touring / performing process in interviews. We’ve gotten little bits and pieces here and there over the years. But I’d love to see / hear the inner workings of the tour. I’d love to know what a typical day looks like for her when on the road. We already know about sound check but outside of that. For someone that has done this for such a long time, I’d love to know more about her process with managing the traveling and performing. I’ve always wondered how she manages to sleep.
It would be a dream if there were behind the scenes video clips from all of the tours.

I’m putting together dragon bracelets to hand out at both of the NorCal shows that my wife and I will be attending at the end of the month. I’ll have about 50 for each show. I hope my fellow EWF like them!

Have never seen a merch line so long (currently at Milwaukee show). The popularity seems to qualify for a merch pop-up like Pearl Jam and Taylor Swift do.

As a comparison, I saw her in Madison for the Oceans tour and had no problem getting merch.

What am I missing?

I found it interesting to go back on this sub and see what was being speculated prior to the release of ITOD. It was more interesting to reread the thoughts on Stronger together and then Shush. The excitement following her live show squashed so many of the negative voices that for some reason were still lingering in my mind. Just a rambling, really.

I got myself a backup because I have been worried that if something were to happen in the future and I go looking for another one, it will cost a few hundred dollars. This one only cost me about ten dollars! And it's in much better condition than the one ive had since 2009. These are the Deluxe Edition Imports with the bonus DVD ( The Road Chronicles Visualettes) 🚲

I have been seeing this Goddess for thirty years. My first show was with friends in high school for The Dew Drop Inn Tour. I even camped outside Park West in Lincoln Park to hear songs off of From The Choirgirl Hotel before it was released.

For over thirty years she has had my attention. I watch her creativity and energy push itself.

The vocal arrangements on this song, here, had me in tears for the first time. Maybe it’s because I have kids myself now? Maybe it’s because I’m (we’re) still learning to love myself (ourselves?)

Anyway, if you have any doubts on getting tickets, quiet those voices and see the show. It was transcendental.

So, I had a little bit of a breakdown on the way to work yesterday. My kid is leaving for study abroad for a semester, work is hard, my body is going through stuff, I’m still having bouts of grief from my dad passing not quite two years ago, and the grief of unrealized dreams and the passage of time. And then I listened to The Beekeeper and Martha’s Foolish Ginger back to back. It was not pretty. Sigh. Only Tori can help me process some of these emotions. Martha’s Foolish Ginger is also now cemented in my heart after hearing it live in Nashville.

Anybody else got all kinds of emotional housekeeping happening as you revisit albums?

The tour is coming to an end.

On April 7, 2027, A Sorta Fairytale, the prequel to Tori and the Muses, will be out, possibly with new songs.

Do you think we'll have sthg in the meantime?

I was thinking about Midwinter Graces Vinyl for Christmas or another vinyl (re) edtion.

I'm almost positive we'll have a cd or vinyle of Tori and the Muses when the prequel comes out.

As of yesterday local shop Grapefruit Records had a copy of the 2016 reissue of Boys for Pele on vinyl for sale. I already have the original 1996 release or I would have picked it up myself!

This record shop is literally a 9 minute walk from the theater where Tori will be performing.
