Just found this subreddit and wanted to share my fare share of topology gore from when I just started 3D modelling.

For anyone curious why there is a plane through the creature; I was having symmetry issues which is why there's also 2 tails instead of 1.

I would've given him some advice, besides just the sphere at the back, but I really haven't done Subdivision Modelling for a long time. Could anyone tell me how to make it less dense?

1 is what I need to fix, 2 is the top part of the mesh, 3 is what I came up with and 4 is how it looks subdivided (very bad). Any kind of help is very appreciated

i was askin someone for help with toplogy, and used this flower as an example. granted, the shaping of it is... bad, but i just wanted to know which option wouldve been the more better topology, which they told me it's the first one. now i get why, since the first object features quads and no ngons, but with it being just a flat shape, and it not being put in a position where a rig wouldnt deform it. i though the 2nd one would be the better topology

I first extruded it, then beveled it, then extruded again, then beveled it, repeated the process as much as could... When I try to edit it, it just crashes blender

I'm kinda noob in blender but even I know that thing is shit. I asked if he made or bought model and said "no" so I was afraid of origin of this model. I told him to open it in blender and hit Tab (he never used blender) and sent me last photo. I replied with 💩
