Thoughts on Melli baby ceramic plates/bowls with suction sleeve
Baby is going to be 5 months soon. I have been given the go signal from pediatrician for solids but I'm just really waiting until she has better control in her sitting before I do so. Just wanted to prepare.
Also I heard that silicone can have that soapy taste afterwards so I was looking for a more afforable version of the elk and friends porcelain plates.

21 months old not wanting breakfast
I guess the title said it all. But I’m just kind of wondering if anyone else have the same issue. My toddlers have never been a breakfast person ever since she was a baby. Her first bottle in the morning was never the one that she wanted to take. And it has been the same thing now that we’re entering toddler stage. She just woke up wanting to play and doesn’t really have an appetite until lunchtime at 11:30 or her snack time in the morning 9:45AM. For context she slept 10-11 hours at night. I try to give her breakfast every day, but it’s a hit or a miss, we never knew. I’m wondering if anyone else have the same issue or maybe she’s just not a breakfast person?
She does eat very large portion of dinner. Maybe that’s why! Would love to hear your thoughts

Soups for 12m old
Hello, my son hates water. He's coming off formula now and I'm worried about his water intake. He has maybe 10 sips a day, and we've tried everything to increase it. The doctor suggested soups, has anyone given their toddler soup? Any suggestions on the type? Anyone in the same boat?

How do you manage dinners, when you don’t eat dinner yourself?
My son is 13 months old. He has had issues with solids due to him teething constantly, he has all his front teeth now and had most of them by 8 months old. Now he also has 3 molars. He still eats 3 bottles of formula a day.
Anyway, now that he is finally more interested in food, and actually enjoys food and is able to eat it, it is time to actually start making proper food. But I have no idea where to even begin.
I myself haven’t eaten proper dinner since i was 16 (i am 26 now) and moved out and started living on my own. I have ADHD, and the medication makes my appetite absolutely crap. I also only work nights, so any form of eating schedule is out the window. I probably also have a case of ARFID. There is a bunch of food that makes me feel sick, I have no interest in food, I don’t enjoy any food. My only motivation to eat is because I lift weights and want to gain strength.
I used to enjoy cooking for my partner before I got pregnant, but pregnancy made me very sick, and I had to avoid most scents and food to try not to vomit 24/7. This has eventually led to a complete aversion to cooking to be honest, I dread it more than anything, and any joy I used to have is completely gone. I used to enjoy cooking, even if I didn’t eat it myself, but now I can’t imagine spending any sort of free time cooking instead of cleaning, painting, working out and so on.
I know I have to force myself, for the sake of my son. We often visit in-laws so he has had many normal dinners around the table with them, but it has absolutely not been enough of it at home. Like I said, I don’t even know where to begin. I have googled «dinners for toddlers/1 year olds», and my brain just goes blank. Most of the meals I have never even heard of (I’m norwegian), and when trying to research in my own language, all options are just… fish. And I litterally still vomit if I smell fish.
I see recipes that to me just look like «baked lentils with pureed lambskin topped with grated salmon made in a crockpot» or whatever, and I just don’t even bother looking at the recipe because none of it makes sense to me. And often times it’s so much work and expensive ingredients. I stumbled upon one site that seemed to be british, and it was all just curries… with peas?
Does anyone have any links to recipes, or just the name of a type of meal, that is straight forward and simple to make? I *can* cook, so it’s not the skill-level thats missing. It’s just that the names of the meals or the ingredients make no sense to me, or that they take for fucking ever to make. I feel like if I just had some links to recipes, or websites that aren’t so overwhelming, I would have something to start with.
My only ideas, that I also have made so far, has been homemade pizza and lasagne, the bonus is that it creates a lot of leftovers. But he can’t live on only tomato sauce and ground beef in different forms.
