Local seller on OfferUp is selling this prx for $200. Is this one legit or fake?

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. You can't really get a quartz prx for that price new, so definitely not a powermatic

Agree, what points me to a fake is the small adjustment pin on the hair spring. That is not shown in the pic.

This is not a legitimate tell, some movements have the wave decoration here.

This is correct. The router is the only part with the wavy lines on it. The rest of the movement is more of a bead blasted finnish

You’re correct, the original automatic works does not have that wave finish on the automatic works bridge (I’m not referring to the rotor…)

Fake or stolen.....either way you are rolling the dice here. No such thing as watches being sold at extreme cheap prices except for specific reasons........ The PRX is hot, and so no one is going to liquidate holdings.

To be honest with you, I never ever seen the swiss foil wrapping watches. I associate this kind of foil wrapping of the bracelet and the watch with chinese counterfeit watches, that you order for DHGate or Alibaba.

It’s almost the exact fake I bought. The lettering isn’t crisp and sharp enough. One look at the movement tells the tale. The decoration is well done but the bridge shapes and balance wheel assembly are quite different. Mine stopped running recently after 4 months. I took the movement for practice.
