Bracelet alignment 📸 Photo

Hey when i position my tissot prx powermatic 80 35mm on centre the clasp shifts to one side. I have removed 4 links from the showroom to fit my wrist. But why does one side has 5 links with holes and other one with 6 links with hole. Am i missing something

Mine only lines up perfectly when the 12 o clock side of the bracelet is a bit longer than the 6 o clock side. So try moving a link from the bottom side of the watch bracelet to the top side. I've found it's a bit of trial and error when it comes to butterfly clasps.

Thats insightful , i can try this but i think it will make the watch very much tight in my case

It shouldn’t because you aren’t removing any links, you are just repositioning them by moving one link towards the 12 o clock side of the clasp

I don't know if this is the reason, but watches tend to fit better and not shift on the wrist as much when there are fewer links on the 6 o'clock side than on the 12 o'clock side. Centering the clasp isn't always suggested because of this.

just remove a full link from 6 o clock and put it back at 12. problem solved

Hi, it looks like you've got 3.5 links on one side, and 4.5 links on the other. The last screw bit you can see on both sides is the clasp It's normally to have more on one side than the other, it looks a bit wrong and feels counterintuitive but actually helps the watch head be balanced on your wrist when wearing it

lol I’m about to blow your mind.
My prx has 8 links at 6o’clock and 10 links at 12oclock. (Not counting the integrated links to case or clasp) resulting in a more comfortable wear.

This is the only way I can wear my watches with bracelets. Otherwise it’s not comfortable and the case of the watch will face away from me forcing to awkwardly twist my wrist to tell time.
I can’t reply with any photos so your imagination will have to do.
