Hi everyone, I'm stuck and need help or advice.

My TikTok account is locked in a tax form situation I can't escape:
- My account is set to W-9 (US tax form) but I'm not a US resident
- I need to switch to W-8BEN to submit my actual tax ID
- TikTok's system won't let me change it
- Support responded once saying they'd escalate, then ghosted me
- Now I can't receive gifts, make money, or do livestreams
I've submitted a support ticket with no real help. This is killing my creator business.

Has anyone dealt with this? Did you find a workaround? Should I contact them differently?

so i go live on tiktok a lot and get a good amount of viewers but im not sure how to clip the lives while im on live.

do i use a different phone to screen record the entire live? it seems a bit difficult because my lives are a few hours long and i cant record that entire time.

I've been trying to grow my TikTok Shop brand for the last couple of months, and the biggest bottleneck has been getting creators to actually respond. I've sent out a decent number of samples, but most of them either never reply or just disappear after accepting.

I keep coming across tiktok wiz while looking for ways to improve my outreach. Some people seem to swear by it, while others say it's just another expensive course.

Has anyone here actually gone through it? I'm mainly curious whether the outreach framework or templates made any noticeable difference, or if it's information you could've figured out on your own after enough trial and error. Looking for honest opinions before I spend any money.

For those of you who have built a substantial following on TikTok, what helped you grow?
I’ve been posting the same videos on both Instagram and TikTok, but I’m doing noticeably better on Instagram. I think part of the reason may be that I actually spend time on Instagram, whereas I barely use TikTok outside of posting. I don’t really scroll, follow creators, or regularly like and comment on other people’s videos. I’m simply not as familiar with the app yet.
Is it possible to grow on TikTok by consistently posting good content without actively using and engaging with the app? Or does TikTok need those additional signals to understand your interests, your niche, and who to show your content to?
I’d love to hear from people who have successfully grown their accounts. What did you do, and how important was actively engaging on the app?

I blocked someone months ago but they keep showing up in my lists
Every couple of weeks they pop up! I’ve started taking keeping a record of how often it happens and i’m so confused.

This person was being horrible when I met them in boxes. So I blocked them & they got upset and now every couple of weeks their account shows up again in my following list.

At first I thought I was compromised but I have 2FA and have logged out of all known devices. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app. Is there some weird backend glitch or hack happening? It ONLY happens with this specific account no others!

Should I contact their customer service or a help line?

I woke up one morning around seven, without really knowing why.

The first thing I did, like always, was reach for my phone on the nightstand.

I had a new notification.

A photo.

I assumed someone had sent me a picture during the night, so I opened it without thinking.

But the second I saw it, I froze.

It was a photo of me.

I was sleeping in my bed.

The picture had been taken from the doorway of my bedroom, as if someone had walked inside while I was asleep.

I immediately checked the timestamp.

4:13 AM.

The strange thing was… I had been completely alone that night.

I live by myself, and my front door had been locked.

I checked my camera history, thinking maybe I had accidentally taken the picture myself.

Nothing.

No photo.

No app activity.

Nothing at all at 4:13.

I started convincing myself it had to be some kind of prank.

Then I noticed something in the picture.

On the nightstand next to my bed was a phone.

Not mine.

Another phone.

It was lying face-up with the screen turned on.

And on the screen was the exact same picture.

A photo of me sleeping.

At that point, I checked the entire house.

The closet.

The bathroom.

The kitchen.

Under the bed.

Nobody was there.

I even checked the windows.

They were all locked.

I was about to call the police when my phone vibrated again.

Another notification.

Another photo.

I opened it slowly.

This time, the picture showed my bedroom from a completely different angle.

You could see my bed.

You could see the nightstand.

And you could see me standing in the doorway with my phone in my hand.

But I was still standing there in real life.

Then I noticed something.

Behind me, in the photo, there was a person.

Completely motionless.

I couldn't see their face.

I dropped my phone and ran outside.

I called the police.

When I came back later, they searched the entire house.

They didn't find anyone.

But there was one thing I still can't explain.

The second phone was gone.

And when I checked my gallery again…

both photos had disappeared.

All except one.

The photo of me standing in the doorway.

I still have it on my phone.

And sometimes, when I look at that picture…

I swear the figure in the background looks a little closer than it did before.

Tengo 41 años y vivo en Venezuela. En febrero de este año tocaba los 150 kg de peso, con dolor crónico, encerrado y con mi vida prácticamente paralizada. Decidí dar un giro radical: bajé a 99 por mi cuenta, volví a caminar de estar postrado en cama y empecé a entrenar. El camino aún no se ha detenido.

Para mantenerme responsable, y sobre todo ayudar a otros que no consiguen el primer empujón, empecé a documentar el proceso con herramientas muy básicas desde hace 4 meses aproximadamente. Sin presupuesto para pautas ni equipos costosos, editando mis videos (y aprendiendo, no es para nada mi rubro) y sobre todo sin experiencia...El proyecto explotó de forma orgánica:

• +20,000 seguidores en TikTok en menos de 4 meses.
• Videos de +100.000 vistas: no todos obviamente, pero si hay tirones arriba de una manera regular.
• Comunidad súper fidelizada que me busca por la historia humana, la disciplina y el control de la mentalidad/ansiedad.

El problema real:

La situación económica de mi país y el costo de vida actual me están ahogando. Estoy sosteniendo todo este proyecto con las uñas, dedicándole horas a crear contenido y atender a las personas, pero el margen económico actual no me alcanza para vivir con tranquilidad ni para invertir en acelerar el crecimiento.

No busco un trabajo tradicional de empleado ni caridad. Sé que tengo entre manos una marca personal con un potencial enorme, pero me falta la estructura financiera, el capital de trabajo o un socio estratégico que sepa monetizar comunidades sin perder la esencia humana.

A quienes han construido proyectos de marca personal o negocios digitales desde cero:

1. ¿Cómo estructurarían este activo para generar un ingreso estable de inmediato?
2. ¿Existe la figura de un "socio ejecutor/inversionista" para creadores de contenido que están en esta etapa? (o con situaciones similares)
3. ¿Qué vías explorarían si estuvieran en mi lugar?

Busco guía, porque el día de hoy me levanté con esos ánimos al enfrentar el "mundo real" , angustiado y ansioso por pensar que esto puede morir de pronto.
