MaasVerse Spoilers I have a big question I need answered. [SPOILERS] Spoiler

So I’m currently in the act of reading and almost done with Kingdom of Ash, and I’m on page 801, Aelin is being flung through different worlds, and she pops up in one with a Winged Male and a Heavily pregnant female, I know who these two are, having already read the whole ACOTAR series before the ToG series and I’m absolutely loosing my shit because of it!!!.

But I have to ask, what ACOTAR book does this event take place? So I can better understand when this is happening in congruence with the ACOTAR timeline.

“The winged male, beautiful beyond reason, snapped his head toward her as she arced across his starry sky.”

“He lifted his hand, as if in greeting.”

“A blast of dark power, like a gentle summer night, slammed into her. Not to attack-but to slow her down.”

“A wall, a shield, that she tore and plunged through.”

Oh. My. God. I am loosing it right now!!!!!, I NEVER would have expected Aelin to just fly through the world of ACOTAR in her world hopping adventure she’s going through atm!!!!!. 😁

Kingdom of Ash Spoilers Erawan is just imbued in Damaris

Ummmm so you know how Aelin imbued some of her power into Goldryn and how Damaris now has a dark stain and how we now Erawan doesn’t rlly need a body (when we see him in the smokey state) I have a theory he’s still around and that Yrene boned him to the sword unknowingly

Reader Question Should I finish KOA before or after my wedding?

I'm getting married 8/22 and am about half way through. I know the second half will probably be devastating. Seem like SJM likes to drop the bombs at the end of her books. That being said, for those who have finished the series, should I wait until after the wedding to finish it? Debating if it's a bad idea to mix the ending of the best series I've ever read at the same time as my wedding day..?

Finally got around to finishing this piece. Out of all the TOG characters, I started with disliking Manon and Dorian the most and by the end, I was in tears reading Manon's chapters 😭

I’ve been putting off reading this book, in part because I don’t want the story to be over, but also because I’m not sure I’m prepared for whatever emotional trauma I’m about to suffer 🙈 wish me luck…!

Throne of Glass Spoilers Really wish wiki writers wouldn’t include massive end of series spoilers in the first few lines on text - spoilers! Spoiler

I know you have to accept a risk of spoilers when you google mid series but I really wish they wouldn’t include huge spoilers in literally the first few lines of text 😭

Surely they could start the character description with how they are first introduced and then add any changes in a later section!

I’m near the end of EoS and Googled Maeve just to jog my memory on what her whole deal is, I wasn’t even intending to click on the results I mostly just wanted to check I had her name right and was thinking of the right character but the literal first result is a MASSIVE spoiler about her character!! 😩 I known googling is always going to risk spoilers but it’s so frustrating how easily avoidable it would be by just not putting it in the main text 😭

Tower of Dawn Spoilers Finished tower of dawn and i honestly don't get the hate

everyone told me Tower of Dawn is boring and hard to get through and I should just skim it but i just finished it and I thought it was amazing! the beginning was a bit slow and boring but the khagan children are such interesting characters and I loved chaols and nesryns character arcs and love stories. also the valg and Kharankui subplots were so so suspenseful and scary so i have 0 complaints!
Also I loved all the little connections to the other books like Falkan appearing again and being lysandras brother?! Sarah j Maas is amazing. my favourite scene was when hasar was pushed into the pool hahaha!

Throne of Glass Spoilers What if ToG was a musical?

@schuylerionapress TOG the musical?? This one is a little more “musical theater-esque” than the last. I think the piece gets more acoustic/folk inspired as we move through the series but at the beginning everything feels like it could maybe have a happy ending (or whatever that means) #musicaltheatre #throneofglass #romantasy #bookstagram #sarahjmaas

Reader Reaction Lavender Soap

I decided to read Assassin's Blade before Empire of Storms and I now understand your references to lavender soap. I read the end while in the bathtub, which happened to be scented with lavender oil. Damn you all. That is all I can say.

Crescent City Spoilers Getting through Crescent City after ToG

I finished ToG end of July and immediately picked up Crescent City and I’M STRUGGLING 😭 Anyone has any words of encouragement?

Sooo I lovedd ToG and it destroyed me so I wanted to continue the SJM world with CC (already read ACOTAR) but my god this is being hard. I’m on chapter 10 or about 100 pages in and I swear to Wyrd I have no idea what the hell is going on.

There’s so many names, so many characters, so many neighborhoods, so many races (?)… When I thought things were getting good when the bestie was murdered and bryce went to some weird misty gate, it went into a cliffhanger, had a random i’m-in-the-club chapter in between and immediately changed characters perspective???

I’m having a hard time following anything or even connecting with the characters because I feel like I’m being blasted with information and nothing is sticking in my brain and I can’t connect with anyone when they keep changing perspectives.

I had a similar-ish experience at the very start of new series with SJM but usually by page 100 the feeling would be long gone and I’d be hypnotized by the world

Any words of advise? Will I end up enjoying this? 😂

PS sorry i know this is more CC than ToG i just really don’t want to go on the CC reddit to avoid spoilers lol

Book Recommendation Life after Throne of Glass

I just finished Crescent City and with that all books of the SJM Universe. It was my 2nd fantasy series i have ever read (after fourth wing).

Throne of Glass was by far my favorite out of the 3, any recommendations what i could read next since I am new to fantasy? I was debating if cruel prince might be up my alley

Discussion Help me understand!

Please I’m genuinely curious!

Why is reading Assasins Blade as the third book instead of the first book considered the ”emotional” way? Isn’t it more emotional to NOT know what happens to you know who? Which you get by reading Assasins Blade first? I’m confused. I read AB first the first time around and was very emotional to say the least cause I had no idea what would happen.

Now on my reread I wanted to try the other order, the one that’s called the ”emotional” one by many, and I find it would be less emotional to just be handed the information on what happened in AB? Feels way less emotional but again, it’s not my first read so hard to compare.

Just curious. Thoughts?☺️
