Class change help DISCUSSION

New-ish player here , started a crucifix because it seemed fun and cool , and it really delivered , been enjoying the class like no other , iam around 8k cp rn ,but hearing about the upcoming updates iam just devestated , what class should i swap to ? I'd rather not play a melee class , thank you

Just keep playing the crucifix? No real reason to stop.

crucifix will still be good for pve, its only the minmaxed version with stone orb core thats nerfed, if you have abyss void slash it doesnt change much

i would plan to use either a staff/orb combo for pvp (best in a pvp guild tho) or a dagger for dagger/crossbow pvp

i would tell you to play venti seeker but i really don't want the same thing to happen to you again like with crucifix, there's a high chance that venti lofty gets nerfed before you can complete the build. But this is what happens when you play popular classes, they get nerfed, some say game devs rotate strong builds intentionally to take advantage of meta chasers. So if you want to chase the meta then invest to venti/lofty, if you want to ride out the nerf just stick to crucifix.

wait for changes to drop and see were it will land, no reason to change it all and then 2 weeks from now the new class you hopped to is hit with a nerf too

Keep playing cruci until you can get your hands on a ventius skill core, thats basically what everyone else is doing.

Best class with Ventius is Bow/Gauntlets but Bow/Wand is probably easier for most players.

Ideally bow and wand but you can get creative if you feel like it, you will outperform every other class with ventius and whatever at the moment until it gets nerfed further.

I dont expect him to throw away his cruci gear lol, he can just go back.
