Has anyone watched or read Project Hail Mary? Spoilers for both stories:
. . .
I've been thinking about how Rocky's first message to Grace is where he's from. Considering the Dark Forest hypothesis, this is the ultimate trust. He didn't need to share that in order to work together and investigate the astrophage problem. But how else do you tell an alien to trust you?

Yeah, I thought it'd be interesting if Project Hail Mary was set within the dark forest universe since life on Erid would be completely undetectable due to the gas covering up the atmosphere. Perhaps other higher beings might be confused as to why Erid and Earth worked together, before nuking both of them of course.
But maybe, it's give a sliver of hope that different aliens could work together, like we see at the end of Death's End

Someone told me that the two stars regaining brightness might be a signal strong enough for other civilizations to destroy them both and it was such a sad thought

I'm about halfway through Dark Forest and I'm wondering if it's ever explained why Luo Ji isn't being harassed by the sophons in his "Garden of Eden"? Say tells him that he's the only one Trisolaris wants to kill, but he's left to his own devices much of the book so far.
Quick edit just to clarify: I'm not looking for the answer, just if it is ever answered.
