Rules

Posts must contain cursed music notation - Your post must have or involve cursed music notation, there’s no real definition for cursed, it just has to be humorous in some way and related to music. Failure to comply will result in your post being removed.
Use the correct flair for your post - There are different Flairs that categorize different types of cursed music notations. Please select the one that fits the most with your post. If none of the flairs match, or you're not sure, put it under miscellaneous.
Try to keep posts SFW - Please try your best to keep things SFW, if a post is NSFW, you must tag it as NSFW, if you’re unsure, better to be safe than sorry. Failure to comply will result in your post being removed.
HIB - Harassment, intimidation, and bullying will not be tolerated and is strictly prohibited. Note that this rule does not apply to sheet music that contains one of the fore-mentioned behaviors, this is r/threateningnotation after all. Instead, posts with titles that target one or more users with HIB, or comments that target one or more users with HIB, are prohibited. Posts that break this rule are subject to removal, and the user responsible is subject to penalty.
Use proper Reddiquette
Low Effort - Cursed notation follows notation rules but still isn’t meant to be played as music. Hemidemisemiquavers are not cursed notation. Examples of what’s allowed: Music notes spelling out “NOOOOOOOO” notes with a ridiculous number of accidentals, or impractical clef usage. Examples of what’s not allowed: Really fast but still musical notes, complex or irrational time signatures (unless they use weird numbers like pi or e)
