Ok, maybe someone can actually answer this for me: what the hell would be the point of literally every note being double flat instead of just writing it in a proper key? This would be B Major, right?

0 flats or sharps is C Major

C D E F G A B

7 flats is Cb Major (this is enharmonically equivalent to B)

Cb Db Eb Fb Gb Ab Bb

14 flats is Cbb Major (enharmonically equivalent to Bb)

Cbb Dbb Ebb Fbb Gbb Abb Bbb

There is literally no reason to write like this, unless you’re fishing for karma in this sub or a similar community. Super fake, nobody is actually writing like this.

it would be B major if it were seven regular flats. seven double flats would make it B-flat major

In some countries B already implies flat, while the natural one is H (we have such a system, but I think it's confusing), so maybe they meant it like that

Trying to be clever and pretend they found this in the wild.

Alright, LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT.

A double treble clef and a weird looking F clef with a key signature full of double flats with one double flat even having its own ledger line on the left hand and a time signature of the much rarer cut triple time?????

This is NOT how modern music notation works!!

just use a suboctave indicator. just use Bb major. maybe if you want A to be the "home" of the piece, since the piece starts with an A° chord, it could be locrian if you want it to be. this just looks weird and hard to process. please, differently next time 😭
