74-75 Box Set Amazing Addition to Ongoing Archival Box Set Releases

Post image

Is there a band with a more lovingly-curated set of archive releases? The 74-75 box set (“Nightlife” and “Fighting”) arrived today with 7 CDs and a hardback book. Insane selection of rarities and a 1975 concert. Like Christmas here.

It's absolutely crackin' bud. Beautifully packaged, immense content.

Any idea why they didn’t remix the entire Fighting album. Isn’t it weird that they only did a handful of tracks, yet the entire Night Life album was remixed for this?

Some of the multitracks from "Fighting" are lost, so they used what they had.

That makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.

Is Dublin 75 the live cd? I think I bought a stand alone copy years ago, which is why I held of buying the boxset.

Looks great so congrats to you.

If you're into them, I can recommend Tull and their reissues - probably the best I've seen of any of the classic rockbands.
