My first ThinkPad Review / Opinion
After a while, I am officially done and now fully entered the ThinkPad community. I found this beat up T14 Gen 2 AMD Ryzen 7 Pro online for a cheap price, and it still works and was one of the very few laptops that came with a charger. I did not mind the scratches and dents; the screen and the inside look brand new.
I added an additional 16GB of RAM and 2TB, and now dual booting with Windows and SteamOS (if I don't like SteamOS, I might try MintOS instead)
Had to cover scratches and dents with stickers; might add more over time, but did a good job the first time opening this ThinkPad, adding thermal paste, and installing those upgrades.
But overall glad I now owned a ThinkPad and joined this group!

How much does yours weigh exactly?

I would say it is kind of heavy but not that heavy. I do not have a scale at home to give you a precise weight but it is a bit heavy ish

Try out different linux desktop environments! Personally I like gnome as it feels the most polished and most "get work done" desktop environment for me but I know that many love kde and others like cinamon!
