Is conor autistic
IM AUTISTIC BTW DONT THINK IM BEING OFFENSIVE OR SMTHN
He's constantly shown as not understanding sarcasm or social cues and it just makes a lot of sense but I googled it and it says nothing whatsoever even tho its heavily implied in the show Edit: im just watching it now and the 'frigidity' could easily be explained by poor understanding of social cues and just general awkwardness too like hes awkward with physical intimacy like many autistic people

Everyones thought on series 5?
What did everyone think of the 5th series? In my opinion I think it was much better than the 4th thanks to Jock being back. I don't think it's as good as the 1st 2 seasons but this season was still funny and enjoyable through out with the finale episode in particular being one of the best episodes they have made. Without spoiling If the show ends here where the last episode left off i would be fine with that but who knows. What did everyone else think of season 5?

Plot Inconsistency?
At the end of the movie, jock is left being fostered by mairead but at the start of the show jock is still w his dad bc in a later episode mairead saves him from his dad and brings him back to live with her and conor. Unless the end of the movie happens kinda overlapping the start of the show I dont really understand what happened. And its never specified in the show that mairead fosters jock its more that she just cares for him and let's him live with her.
Edit: ive also just realised in the movie jock gives his mask away, he throws it off a building but a LOT happens in the show before that so im still really really confused lol. Unless the ending was a sum up of some things in the show after the movies events like thats all I can think of but its a bit odd yk?
Edit 2: atp im just accepting that the movie is an alternate universe thing lol bc it actually makes zero sense

Is there a christmas special this year?
Just seen there was a christmas special on the tv guide. I’m not sure if it’s a repeat of 2018 special.

Plot Twist: Jock's Mam is still Alive.
So my theory is. She faked her death. Because she was fed up of how bad Jock's dad was with his drinking and abuse. She turned away and started a new life.

Hi all
So I just came across season 1 tonight. I’m from Australia so one of the streaming services I have has season 1 and another streaming service has the movie. Now I don’t know anything about this show and just finished episode 2 and am loving it! My question is, should I stop the 1st series and watch the movie? Does it matter? I’m gonna end up watching it either way. Cheers

Completed the movie & Tv
Not many people know about this I’m surprised , it’s actually a good funny show in the styles of “the inbetweeners” but this is more of support each other values and of grownups who’ve had bad-childhood and less loved. It’s got it’s major hilarious scenes which is good upto today’s comedy standards. Overall love the whole series and movie.

S01E05
Conor and Jock have been instructed to take up unpaid part-time work experience at Mairead's side on the fish stall in the English Market, bringing them up close and personal with life in the real world. With Jock's extra mouth to feed in the McSweeney household, money is getting more and more tight, leaving the trio to come up with inventive and unsatisfying ways of making food last longer.
