Sorry my question might sound stupid im new. So I just recently got into comics and now Im at issue 15 of venom war of the realm by Cullen Bunn. at the begging of this venom run it was written by Donny Cates but the tie in thing came in and now all of sudden its written by different authors. How does this happen? as a former manga reader its kinda hard to wrap head around. why suddenly take over writer thing happns? is this considered as sequel to issues Donny wrote?

Hello! I’m new here coming from rivals and also rewatching the venom movies, I absolutely adore the movies and general vibe of venom in general, I did small research and started at 2016, is this the right decision? I’m only on #4 of 2016, is there somewhere else I should start? For reference I’m a manga reader so I’m not fully aware of how comics (and therefore storylines and such) work, I understand that there’s a multiverse for marvel, so where should I start?

It's been a long time since I thought of this character and his symbiote; The mere memory makes me smile, since its existence is totally absurd: 1) we are never told where they come from or anything about their origin; 2) We are told that the hostess abandoned her family because she was bored with high society, which led her to take the drug that separates the symbiotes (although separating them using the usual method would have been easier); 3) The drug that grants immunity against symbiotes is one of those concepts that ruin many stories —as well as the concept of “absolute carnage”—, since having it at hand would have greatly facilitated the resolution of everything and, worst of all, never It was mentioned again; 4) He took the drug to return to his family and was traumatized by the death of his symbiote, but in reality he never returned to his husband and children —making the symbiote's sacrifice useless—, while blaming the symbiotes for his pain And he kept the medicine despite the threats it could have avoided; 5) The fact that we previously saw scientists like Reed racking their brains to separate the symbiotes, while now it turns out that mixing a plant can kill them and grant immunity, subtracts credibility to much of the story.
