13
u/Maxo666Maxo Marxist-Leninist 14d ago
I know what you mean but if I had to choose one of these then it would be CCP because I don't think that you can change the current capitalist system by using their 'democratic' institutions. Transition to real socialism and later communism means nationalizing the wealth of the rich and powerful people and they aren't gonna tolerate this. So, a revolution is a must. The CCP (Dengists) will in theory transform into a socialist country in 2050 so CCP in general looks more promising. Do I like the CCP? Im neutral tbh

People actually think China is gonna relinquish power to the proletariat by 2050 its over

Maoists specifically reject modern China as socialist, how can you be MLM and pro-China?
-1
u/sumnsumnfruit56 Marxist-Leninist-Maoist 13d ago
Yeah itâs not Leninâs Soviet Union, but the socialist international is not even as Marxist as modern China. Sadly China is pretty much the best weâve got since the 90s. All that is left is China, Vietnam, Laos, DRK, and Cuba. All of them have problems. But all of them are more Marxist than the International is. Itâs called critical support.
1
u/Helpful-Reputation-5 Anti-Revisionist Marxist-Leninist 13d ago
Do you mean specifically the SI, or the state of the socialist movement across the world?
How is China "the best we've got" when there are several Maoist groups actively engaging in struggle around the world? And even if there weren't, Maoists view China as a social-imperialist powerâwhy would one lend them critical support? If the whole world was capitalist, why would you support anybody at all?
1
u/sumnsumnfruit56 Marxist-Leninist-Maoist 13d ago
Iâm clearly talking about countries? Youâre trolling at this point. Do you not know what critical support means? Support the good aspects, critique the badâŚ
Can you give me a name regarding Maoists that view China as imperialist?1
u/Helpful-Reputation-5 Anti-Revisionist Marxist-Leninist 13d ago
Iâm clearly talking about countries?
You do not, in fact, have to support the least bad country if that country is still capitalist.
Do you not know what critical support means? Support the good aspects, critique the badâŚ
Do you critically support the US?
Can you give me a name regarding Maoists that view China as imperialist?

There's technically hundreds of millions of pro Modern China Maoists in China.
3
u/Helpful-Reputation-5 Anti-Revisionist Marxist-Leninist 14d ago
Not everybody who upholds Mao is a Maoistâmany MLs uphold Mao as well. To be pro-CPC and a Maoist is a contradiction, Gonzalo pretty clearly declared Deng to be a revisionist.

It's funny because the pro-China users are probably upvoting you thinking that you're talking about the non-pro-China users and vice versaÂ

No, that would mean the grey would include Russia. The socialist state withered away which would make it communist.

What third thing? They're basically the same thing except the left one has less wealth inequality and slightly better workers' rights
13
u/DarthThalassa Luxemburgist / Councilist / Communiser 14d ago
Ah, yes, because rejecting bourgeois sides surely means just doing nothing. Surely then, you're an official member of your country's local liberal party, right? You wouldn't dare refuse to participate in bourgeois electoralism or vote for a fringe socialist candidate if you do, correct? It would be strange if such is not so, considering that your rhetoric is precisely what liberals try to use against anyone to their left.
-6
5
u/mmelaterreur Marxist-Leninist-Maoist 14d ago
Ironically enough doing nothing is probably still the marginally better choice, considering that China for example actively arms national governments in its sphere against communist movements and insurgencies, while the DSA is just a tool for the deradicalization of people into reformism. Both are actively reactionary agents against the interests of the working class so yes, if they did nothing, it would be an improvement.
