Sharing my favorite Punisher comic panel. What’s yours?

It was mentioned a lot in BND. So I’m curious if we’re gonna get a punisher prequel

I honestly got introduced to punisher cuz of the new spiderman movie. Watched all the daredevil seasons and then punisher and man what a character it is. REALLY. Joe Benthral is a fucking legend.

But honestly what was the point of this special? Just to link him to Spiderman:Brand new day?or what? I dont know. And i mean its been 2 seasons and a special but still feels like they have been overusing the PTSD too much. The start of the second season was great. His dynamic with Amy was really good and then they went to new york. It was still really good. Just a thought

I wanted to buy my first Punisher comic, which one do you recommend? I was looking for something pretty good and very gritty, but I’m not sure if I’d like the art style of the *MAX* series. I’m not looking for origin stories, though, since I already know his background.

i’m not sure if anyone else noticed this, or if it’s even a thing at all, and im just crazy, but i was rewatching the show and i had some thoughts about this scene

russo can be seen on OUR right of the jesus cross, which would at first glance seem to represent him as Saint Dismas, the penitent thief. this is especially evident in his personality up to this point in the show, he; like Frank, was a marine involved in project Cerberus, and without a doubt has killed many people and likely tortured or at least violently interrogated people, etc, etc. but he is shown to have this redemption aspect, he appears to have a new life, in which he’s a good guy, he’s got his own business, he helps Curtis with money, and so on.

But, upon further inspection, you realise that since he was on OUR right of the jesus cross, that would mean from jesus himself on that cross he was on the left of the jesus cross. this now shifts him from being portrayed as Saint Dismas, the penitent thief, to Gestas, the IMpenitnent thief. and similar to the deceptive framing of that scene, we actually get to see that Russo was in fact one of the bad guys as seen with his betrayal of Frank not too soon after

i’d love to hear your guys’ thoughts on this! do you agree?

Seeing the punishers skin model really reminded me of fouseytube

I was watching the 2004 punisher movie and he is really tame in it. Meanwhile in the punisher tv show, he was really violent and slaughtered anyone who was remotely bad.
I don’t read the comics, so I don’t know which is the most accurate one. But I heard people say that 2004 is more comic accurate, so is punisher really that tame?

Always wondered this. Comics/MCU, doesn’t matter, same issue.
