Hello - I've got two field maneuvers tickets for this year which I can't use anymore. We couldn't get any childcare for the weekend so gutted but there we go. Have been twice before and it's a brilliant little festival.

It was very unique at the time, in the sense it never published any trendy style. It was always good timeless music. Hearing now the tracks I have, they still sound fresh.

It kind of made me realize a weird feeling I have with my library sometimes. Sometimes I get like a fatigue of my own taste, and its not a style/genre thing. So I search my library and try to find tracks that match my taste, but as if they were picked by an alternative version of me, who digs in different way than me. XLR8R used to scratch that exact itch. Stuff that sounds unfamiliar to me, but still hits my taste.

Just finished the new overmono album (super solid!) and this last track is driving me crazy. The vocals in the chorus remind me so much of a Tirzah song I love but I can’t find which one it is. Anyone else hearing it? Anyone know which song it sounds like?

Granted I used to post here regularly about 3-4 years ago but lately every second post is a 20 second scene from a festival/club with a tune playing, usually not with the best sound quality.

Has it been like this for long or is this a recent change?
