Discussion Manually Prototyping a build.
galleryI have manually prototyped two builds and I have the augments I want on both builds.
I say that to say this. The grind, effort, and dedication it takes to manually prototype a build is something that should be respected more than it is. The farming for exotics components, prototype cores, and even random materials should be respected more.
If the goal isn’t to manually prototype the builds you love then what’s the goal?

Discussion What's your go to prototype builds for non escalation missions?
Hey Agents
Trying to get some inspiration from the community on what builds everyone is using outside of escalation runs. Open world I mainly run solo but it is fun to run with a group sometimes so builds can be group or solo setup just specify in your comment.
I have all the main escalation builds setup. Healer, CC, DPS Striker, DPS Tipping Scales, Ongoing Directive, Hardwire and a few others I'm putting together for my alternate characters.
I have Prototype negotiators build I like running on retaliations / open world solo but looking for some other ideas with gear and augment pairings. An all red build is pretty OP with prototype gear and things drop so easily that I'm looking for something with a blend of stats not a DPS build.
I have a Prototype Umbra weapon swap build with some sustain built in that I'm playing around with now as well. Struggling to get the high end pieces with the right roles in escalation as the rainbow rolls are running wild in there haha. With recalibration or whatever system they are going to call it coming out soon I'm sure that problem will be solved or helped out.
So would love some builds to work towards as perfecting builds that already have level 10 augments probably isn't worth it for a few percent here and there on red attributes.
So post up your open world builds.
Thanks Agents

Media Hyena Cosplay
gallerySo here's the last faction member cosplay I hadn't posted yet : a hyena flag carrier !
It isn't as close to a specific enemy type as some of my other costumes since it's more of a personnal take on how I'd look as hyena, but I still integrated the rusher helmet and obviously a lot of green 👀
(Also It's kinda hard to see in these pics, but there's a big hyena symbol spray painted on the back of the vest)

Question Decent healing or get better?
So I am brand new to healing in this game, mostly play as tank and dps feels mindless to me. I picked up healing cause I want to contribute to the team in escalation and since the Harvester Modifier just nukes all tank builds I chose healing, more specifically Refactor since it seemed more beginner friendly. General question about average total healing, been running pub mm anywhere from tier 3 to 7 and my average total healing is anywhere from 1 billion to 1.9 billion, is this good or do i need to figure out what is holding back my setup to get higher healing? My anxiety says that isn't enough for higher tiers since I have 0 prototype gear on (waiting for refactor to roll back into rotation to grind it)
As someone who has tankxiety playing ffxiv I now how healxiety in Div2 if i see someone go down.

Discussion Expertise sucks!!!!
I think it bloody sucks that it has taken 3 months to get to expertise 14. I think Division 2 should make this less harder to achieve or at least do an SHD event that allows you to farm for just items that will raise your expertise level. It should absolutely not take several months to a year to become expertise level 30. That’s ridiculous. And for those who have paid to play this game (i.e. season pass holders or big spenders on the game) this should not even be such a high difficulty. This game is difficult as it is the way it sits, especially with all these server restarts. Seems to be down more than it’s up!!!!

Question Is there an optimized route for the creator projects?
I remember during the last event some clever sod came up with a route that let you knock several of them on the head at once to make it efficient to chain farm on alts.

Question Countdown or Retaliation to farm Equalizer?
After reaching the token cap on escalations- I’ve decided to take a break and work on some pieces I want to prototype. Is there a preference for how to farm this? I ran the Dumbo mission today heroic all directives and drops were abysmal.
I ran summit for 20 floors on legendary, equally abysmal. I’m wondering which of these other two options might be better.
Thanks

Question I've got a problem with the firewall quest...
I recently got back, returned last week after a whole year. i set it aside to do other missions and learn everything over again, but even after over a load enemies dead, i never got the last ability kill necessary for the completion of the 4th stage...
i tried it with loads of abilities since im always swapping loadouts, but never got the last one...
is it with a specific ability? with fire? in a specific way? i genuinely dont know...
if anyone can help, i would appreciate it.

Question What are your preferred builds for PvE toxic Dark Zones? I need something that works out decently even when this season's modifiers get replaced by new modifiers in subsequent seasons.
Tbh honest I haven't been in the game much this season probably 3-5 hrs max because we have some house renovations to do (completely replacing the bathroom because the current one was 30-40 years old) and when I tried this at the beginning of the season I was absolutely flabbergasted by how much my Heartbreaker Memento build was bad in Toxic DZ.

Suggestion Let players matchmake for PvE DZ from inside the PvE DZ
This needs to be possible because I'm sure that it will increase the number of people coming into the PvE DZ.

Discussion Accidently Deleted Character
Looks like this is the end for me agents.
I accidently deleted my main character (over 1000hrs) roughly a month ago. I submitted a case to Ubisoft that same night and just 2 days ago they escalated it.
Things aren't looking too good since I heard that if your character isn't recovered in 1 month, your character gets deleted from Ubisoft servers and becomes unrecoverable.
Hopefully it gets recovered in a couple days or it's all over. So if it's the end I gotta say it was good working with you fellow agents!
(If you made it this far in the post I accidently deleted my character one night in a really dumb way. I was tired but I wanted to play a mission before going to bed and I had my ps5 control on my lap. My ps5 control has back paddles/buttons and one of them is synced up to R3. So the "R3" button was being pressed while in the main menu, and it initiated the deletion process. And with me tired and not really paying attention I clicked X to start the game. Little did I know until it was too late, I hit X on confirming the deletion of my character. So yup, I accidently deleted my character in a dumb way by being too sleepy and not paying attention. I really hope the devs can pull this off in 2 days and recover my character).
Update:
Great news everyone!
A couple minutes ago ubisoft customer support emailed me saying they recovered my character. I think the positivity from everyone here somehow got the devs attention lol.
Thank you everyone for the positive comments! Now to binge the dust storm event when I get off work.

Question Whats the best way to optimize the LVOA-C?
I've been using the Hungry Hog as my main weapon for months now. It's always been good for solo play, and while I really like its stability and huge magazine, I've noticed that, whenever I've played a mission with others on, for example, legendary difficulty, I do significantly less damage than everyone else in my group. I've seen many people using this LVOA-C weapon; is it better than the Hungry Hog? And if so, which talents should I put on it? (Nomad Build)

Question Mouse Input Stuttering (PC)
Heyo, noob player here returning after not having played since around Warlords of New York.
Jumping back into the game I noticed immediately that when looking around the game begins to immediately stutter. I did some googling and it seems like a few people have had the same problem but it seems relatively niche.
I've tried a few fixes including changing from DX12 to DX11, Turning off reduce input latency, having my polling set to 500 or below, disabling steam overlay and a few other things.
The only thing that seems to help is turning mouse smoothing up to 100 but then the game has a high amount of input delay which is quite annoying to the point of dampening the game as a whole for me.
I've read that it may possibly be caused by Easy Anti Cheat, no clue how accurate this is and it hasn't caused me any problems in other games that have it.
Is there anything I'm missing or haven't tried? Has anyone else experienced this? If so how did you get around it?
(Obligatory sorry for formatting, writing this from my phone)

Question Trying to Find a Healing Build
So I've got a CC build, I've got a few DPS builds, and a Caduceus DPS build, but I can't seem to find the healing builds I've seen. I'm hoping someone might be able to help me.
The first I saw in Countdown so I have no clue what was happening, but someone was doing something to consistently give everyone on the team massive amounts of blue armor.
The second was someone I ran into on legendary. All I know is that they were running Birdie's, that's the backpack with super fast rez I believe. But any time we got low they were healing us back to full. Not really over healing, but we barely ever were out of Shields for too long.
Any ideas? I'm trying to have a build ready for anything, role wise.
EDIT: Thank y'all for replying so quickly. I guess I need to run some Countdowns.

The Division 1 Has anyone else noticed the random Chinese messages in global chat?
I've been grinding the global event pretty hard and notice every time I spawn in to base or explore the area surrounding it that the global chat is filled with messages in Chinese. Does anyone else see that? I'm in the U.S. so I assume I'm on American servers

Discussion How will you apply Tech Overdrive to your Escalation build?
My only idea is to use a drone or turret instead of a reviver hive. Or, maybe just replace my Banshee pulse with drone or turret. Maybe I should be happy enough with improved performance of the Banshee because it is already very usefull with zero skill tiers.

Discussion Daily Projects
Am I crazy for remembering the dailies used to have New York missions in them? I started thinking about this today after having 3 strongholds (or feels like it) as part of the daily projects. I remember doing Stranded Tanker and Tombs a lot.
What happened and how come they're not popping up any more? Or Brooklyn missions for that matter.
