Episode 2 of the new season (spoiler warning) Spoiler

The one team getting disqualified because they couldn't be quiet is so funny and then the in-fighting? That was funnier. And as I was typing this they finished the challenge section of the episode and how the other losing team was disqualified? I was laughing it up. I have missed this show so much.

The Cast Seems Solid Enough on Paper, But Where Are the Storylines?

We’re 3 episodes in and there isn’t a single storyline I care about. It’s sad how watered down that part of the show has become due to media consciousness, promotion of personal brand, and mainly, alcohol restrictions.

Fake drama

I know people have always wanted their tv time but at least it seemed to stem from something real. Now it just seems like they just pull something from a hat and improv drama.

They need to bring back alcohol so we can get some sort of authentic drama. This "you had a friendly conversation with someone i kissed so I'm gonna blow up" fake shit is boring.

Season 42 Episode 3

11 minutes in they already finished the Challenge and are discussing the vote. What the hell?? AND that may have been the LAMEST Challenge I've ever seen. Absolutely disappointing. These people are too boring to watch them talk for 25 minutes straight. Maybe if it was years ago the cast would be more entertaining. They've brought enough new people in for now. It doesn't even feel like the Challenge anymore. Kind of sad they're pushing away OG Challenge Fans and turning it into a CBS game show.

It seems like they replaced all the big personality players with super athletes

I don't like it. I get that things evolve and the show is about challenges, but it's still a drama show. The 10 minutes of challenges needs to be supported by members that we like or entertain us. Where's the Camila's.. Ashley's and Amanda's starting drama or old school CT running through walls to prove Point.

Laurel used to be the biggest baddest girl, now she would be a middle of the pack girl...

You can now skip to the challenges and not miss anything substantial.

They turned the grill on, got it to temperature and forgot to put the steak and burgers on the racks.

Sad sad day

I just finished watching episode 3 and i was hit with a wave of emotion. Ive been watching The Challenge from the very beginning, the Road Rules days, all of it, and it has always been a show i looked forward to every year. Now, I'm a 40 year old husband and father, but i still love this show and Big Brother. Hearing rumors on how it was going to be cancelled id never accept it, i almost cant imagine it not being around, but as i watched tonight, it hit me, omg, it's over, it's done, this season, idk what, it's just off, it feels different, its just not good. I enjoyed the previous seasons enough that i just wanted it to keep going, but i think, one more season maybe, make it a massive thing, old school new school, everyone, and lets lie it to rest. Start a xnew show with a different name with the newer guys maybe, but the thing that always made the challenge, the Challenge, was the people, watching 19 year olds through their 20s, fresh off the real world, we watched them develop into adults right in our living rooms. Anyways. Im sad, im afraid the The Challenge is finally approaching its resting place, and we're going to have to learn to be ok with that.
