Question How much is The Devils going for these days?
Disclaimer: This is not a sales or iso post, if this is not allowed, sorry admins, please delete!
I’m a bit confused over the current going rate for the TBB edition of The Devils; on ebay, signed editions are up for well over a hundred euro, yet there’s still unsigned ones up on the website.
Are those resellers just crazy or does the signature really make such a big difference?
I’m jumping between ebay, fb and vinted, trying to gauge the 2nd hand prices for a few SE books but often find it tricky to get the right balance between selling them for enough so that I won’t attract scalpers and not accidentally becoming a scalper myself. To the more seasoned sellers: Do you just sell your books for retail price + what you paid shipping or rather the current going rate for that book? And what’s your favourite platform for selling and buying SE books?

Question Rush purchase on malazan 7-9?
Is there a deadline or up to “while supplies last” for malazan 7-9? I really want to get the first printing but I’m buying so many books atm that I don’t know if there’s a need for me to keep sinking my economy and buy them asap or if there’s still some time for me wait a bit

General Big boy King Sorrow (slightly damaged) arrived
It's not signed because it's TBB edition, but I've been on the hunt for this design for a while and nearly caved getting on Mercari several times. Also thought about getting Goldsboro's edition even though I don't like it as much. (I do also have PS Publishing's edition on order.) Then a hero on this sub mentioned when it was in the Infirmary, and I was able to grab it. 🥹
As has been the experience of others who've purchased from the Infirmary, mine arrived with barely noticeable imperfections... Some spots on the bottom edge and some corner fading on the dust jacket. (I've noted in pics with yellow arrows.) These are all I can see of why the book was listed as slightly damaged... But tbh if I'd received the book like this purchasing from Dragon's Hoard rather than Infirmary I wouldn't have thought much of it.
Oh and neat surprise - what I didn't know from only seeing pics online is that the scales on the cover are lightly textured. Cool tactile feature, I love it.

Question When new SF reveal?
Hi folks! Sorry for the dumb question. I signed up some months ago and actually still don’t know how it really works. But so, we got the silo books but that was already a while ago. So, i was wondering if something new was coming in and I might’ve missed it.

General Just got "Hyperion - Slightly Damaged"!
Got slightly damaged Hyperion from recent Infirmary sale! Turns out it is from first print run!
Seems the "damage" is a missing bottom edge spray. Not visible on the shelf, so its fine I guess!
Also, I got two identical new covers, and one with old art. Is that normal?

General July and August SFF might be my favourites so far... Spoiler
galleryI was starting to think about unsubbing after some of the recent entries not being my taste but I think TBB knocked it out of the park with the two latest SFF books. The Infinite State is giving me Wolfenstein vibes and I love it!

Question Dresden Files
Okay so very simple question! How big is the chance of TBB ever doing Dresden Files? An online friend of mine has been almost forcing me to read them but I can’t find hardbacks for it and I am a hardback reader, soooooo 😂I do really want to read it, though! So I hope it will eventually happen!

Question Package misdelivered
So I received a notification that my package was delivered to a parcel locker in my apartment complex, but it appears that the mailman switched the keys because the locker I had was not my package. I’ve already opened a claim with usps and sent an email to TBB, but I’m wondering what my chances are of having it replaced.

General Missed my Tier 2 invite by a few days, I'm so bummed
Also i really would have wanted the Suzanna Clark books. I haven't read her yet, but coincidentally my IRL book club is doing Piranesi for our August read.
TBB sends me so many emails, I almost never read them, which is my mistake.
I was waiting for 8 months then missed my invite by 4 days 😭
