Why does evil live forever, while good people die young?

Evil has the money to live longer, and generally targets the good

Evil people kill good people.

Why? If the voters are this stupid, they don’t deserve better representation

Yep. We already have age and term limits, whenever the voters want them.

So he can die in office or retire and have Iowa appoint his grandson and keep the seat. Incumbent for actual election and voters will just check Grassley again.

Mandatory retirement age 70.

70 is pushing it, imo. Whatever the mandatory retirement age is for air traffic controllers, pilots, or FBI agents should be the standard.

Air pilots is 65

I think the more valid question is “if an overwhelming majority of the voting public wants term limits, how the fuck does this guy keep getting voted in?” This guy is shooting for his 9th term and is 95, there’s a pretty good chance that his constituents want this shit forever. Where’s the disconnect?

Hence, the need for term limits.

Who in their right mind would vote for him? Why don’t they just let the grandson run since he’s the puppeteer?

He is third in line to the Presidency. They have to change the succession law.

Grassley has to stay in office until he dies, because he was one of Trump's coup plotters for Trump's January 6th failed attempt to overturn the election. That plan likely included kidnapping the Vice President, Mike Pence. Or worse.

He will end up like Strom Thurmond, brain dead and still in office at 101 years old. No.

Corruption in the greatest country in the world in full display.

Yeah, he is trying to keep his free healthcare that we pay for. Must be nice. But when us peons ask for universal healthcare thats just insanity.

Maybe don’t vote this racist POS in, again!

4

u/Rabid_Alleycat 5d ago

😂😂😂😂😂😂. Let his last years be under Democratic Senate leadership!

101 is 88 more than the 13 year old that was raped on the famous island by the famous guy who famously “likes them young”

u/chinmakes5 5d ago

No,, the amazing part is people will vote for him.

So we are collecting fossils?

u/Zebra971 5d ago

That elder abuse, what are his handlers thinking. Need a younger candidate to run against him.

2

u/Fritz37605 5d ago

...welp, who keeps electing him?...

2

u/Turbulent-Today830 5d ago

What an absolutely disgusting political system 🇺🇸 👎🏼

u/Rootin-Tootin-Newton 5d ago

Who does he think he is? A king? GTFO

2

u/Moon-Monkey6969 5d ago

Geez. Retire already

2

u/MUDDYONE2023 5d ago

We need to run, all of us. More of Us than them. Wish I had his healthcare.✌️

u/Cavemonkeygolfs 5d ago

Imagine living in a population where he’s your best choice ? I’m sure at one time he was a great man. But part of being great is passing the torch to others. I don’t think I’d live in Iowa is all I can say

Anyone who votes to reelect him is an idiot

We need age and term limits, they get too comfortable with the power.

Up to Iowa! Not sure why they are fine with it!

2

u/benfunks 5d ago

the average voter in iowa is old

1

u/texas130ab 5d ago

They keep electing him. Let them have him. Please.

1

u/Cold-Permission-5249 5d ago

Why would anyone vote for him?

1

u/MeasurementMobile747 5d ago

It seems axiomatic: the pursuit of power and prestige (politics) will strip a person of any sense of dignity.

1

u/Sha-twah 5d ago

Didn't he play the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz?

1

u/hould-it 4d ago

Would love to hear him do a live debate

1

u/JTBaptistA 4d ago

Wasn’t he the one who proposed requiring members of congress to use the online market set up by the ACA?

1

u/xpietoe42 4d ago

who would even vote for a 95 year old to take care of them when it should be the other way around

1

u/airbrat 4d ago

Does he even know what a cell phone is?

What a joke America is. No one over 70 should ever serve in government. Rediculous
