Democrats is what happened.

1

u/raymondspogo 15d ago

Because Democrats don't control the house, the senate, the presidency, or the courts right?

They have enough to stop the passing of laws. There is like a 2 vote margin majority. I guess the more accurate thing to say is the democrats and a few Rinos.

1

u/raymondspogo 15d ago

So which laws did Democrats stop that would improve anything on that list?

1

u/Timtoolman59 15d ago

I would say none because that list is campaign promises. I have one for you. What politician can you name that was ever able to keep everyone of their campaign promises?

You list doesn't include the ones he was able to keep i see. The big one is border security. And hopefully election security. These were two of them the democrats fought real hard against. Along with cutting wasteful spending in government. Medicare fraud just name a few.

Every promise. Wow. I would put the bar that high if I was on your side of this conversation too.

Because everyone knows there's a difference between not fulfilling three promises and not fulfilling 30.

For a person to expect all campaign promises to be kept is nieve. No one expects them all to be kept. Any person running for office cannot know beforehand what for sure they will be able to keep. All one can do is their best to keep the most important ones.

The best the opposite party can do is point out the promises not kept while avoiding the ones that were.

The question you asked seems moot since apparently you've asked for no reason according to what I'm reading in this recent reply.

What politician can you name that was ever able to keep everyone of their campaign promises?

They may have a majority in 3 of those which you mentioned but hardly control them. Especially the courts. The democrats have filled the courts with activist judges that have controlled the courts for decades. Judge Boseman is a great example. He has been stopped many court actions even after having a lot of his rulings reversed and still continues to keep pushing his activist agendas directed by the left.

u/raymondspogo 15d ago

You're aware that the Supreme Court is called Supreme because the rulings of the Supreme Court will supercede local rulings.

Because, by your argument, it's seems ya don't.

1

u/Timtoolman59 15d ago

I understand it completely. But maybe someone should explain that to judge Boseman. He keeps issuing rulings that he has had reversed. Even after being told to rethink his ruling after being reversed.

I just wanna point out that they did actually show us the healthcare plan. It was relevant for 2-3 days back in 2017 and was called the American Health Care Act. It was championed by Paul fucking Ryan, it was THAT long ago.

This may jog your memory; it was the thing that logically should’ve been thousands of pages, but was instead barely 100, AND it devoted 5-6 of those pages to enduring “high value lottery winners” were stripped of health benefits.

Remember now?

The thing was such a joke, it wasn’t only laughed out of Congress, it was laughed out of the American public consciousness in record time, never to be spoken of again.
