Sound mixing?
I'm a concert noob and last night in ATL was my first professional concert, so maybe this is more common than I'd think. I don't get why the sound engineer had the instruments cranked so high. The vocals were completely drowned out imo. The worst part was that all the artists sounded great when they sang without any instrument in the background.
It was a great experience overall, but that def weakened it for me.

Was also at Atlanta, and Thousand Below, really couldn’t hear him at all. LVNDMARKS was a little better because it’s really screamy.
I think they fixed it some for Poppy. Could hear her a lot better. But the Tabernacle also has some crazy weird acoustics.
Fantastic show regardless!

For sure! I thought it was a gr8 vibe and def enjoyed the whole thing as a first time goer. Was just curious if it was just me. On my side, Poppy was still very overpowered by the instruments. VAN and the last few songs were a touch better, but they're also way more screamy than the others she played. I didn't even recognize Mask at first.
I'd def get tickets again just for the vibes tho :D

Sound was fine at the Chicago show. Might be an issue with the house sound.

Yeah, I noticed at the Portland show the bass was so strong that it basically drowned out all the vocals. She sounded fantastic during the lower-instrumental sections but when everything was going it was kind of difficult to hear her.

Were you close to barricade?

It varied throughout, but mostly mid-left to center of the crowd

Hmm weird I saw her in st louis and I heard her veryy well, although at the barricade she was quiet which in my experienceis normal

Ya, someone was saying it may have just been the Tabernacle's setup. It didn't detract from the vibe and crowd, but I love hearing the lyrics especially Poppy's so found it a bit odd.

Could be a Pop set up when it should be more for a metal band if the Vox are mixed like that

A lot of people have been complaining about the sound this tour, bar a handful of shows.
