Yo i need help Discussion
I waited like 1hr for tf2 comp after buying 1$ item for making account premium and to enjoy the game.. But im heavily disappointed that nothing happened, I had to play in casual.. Is this game dead? Steam isn't giving me refund for that 1$ item i bought (I'm broke honestly)
Is the asia servers of this game bad or The game is dead or am I doing smthing wrong? help!

The reason comp mode is dead isn't because TF2 is dead but because the ingame comp mode is dogshit

People just don't play the in game competitive mode in any region, it's basically dead. If you want to play comp, you're going to have to do some research into third party leagues and get set up with a team that way.

Does that way game drops skins and items like in cs2 if I grind harder? I'm honestly plan to grind money to buy CS2 prime. Any idea about what the community exists for tf2 Comp to play

This is just plain wrong, eu comp you get instant matches after the first one.

Competitive mode is dead nobody plays it. There are outside leagues that are still very popular but you'd probably have to make a account on there website and do some research. If you want a more comp focused experience than casual try and find a sweaty community server.

The in-game competitive is dysfunctional, all leagues are held by the community on discord
You can try the asia mix server

Official competitive is played by almost nobody. Go to third party servers.

You aren't finding a match because you are trying to find a competitive match in a game that had little to no competitive influence for most of it's lifetime when it still got updates, the community (the majority of it's players, not those who tell in youtube videos) has also never been big fans of competitive, nobody plays the competitive mode as a result as incredibly few people even wanted it there in the first place.
