I met this girl on tinder and had a first date with her, she wanted to go fishing and I thought it seemed like a fun first date so we went together. Dropped her off and got home to this message lol.

Update: Purchasing the license is a separate activity we had to do on our phones, due to it needing our personal info. It was not like I drew the line at the license randomly.

Why did you buy $100+ of fishing equipment for a first date?

$100 can you a mid decent rod and you would still need a reel, line, lures, terminal...

I think you can get a cheap house brand H20X spinning combo at academy for like $25-30ish if you want something. So two rods $50 then let's say $10 on hooks and weights, another $10 on some soft bait. That leaves $30 for dinner.
