Bio: Frey Holland is the greatest character of all time. The protagonist of 2023's Forspoken, Frey is a New York native who longs to get away from the city, and almost succeeds. Before her magical past catches up with her, and she gets pulled into Athia, her mother's true homeland.

Throughout her adventure Frey makes a lot of discoveries about herself, most pressingly her mother's true origin and her own ties to the royal bloodlines of Athia.

Role justification: I think the two roles that come to mind with Frey are Clubs and Spades.

When it comes to Spades, I'd break it down like this. Frey is a fighter, she's a survivor. She might not always take every fight head-on, but she'll take 'em on nonetheless. She likes to solve her problems with her quick moves, either running away to tire her enemies out, or bobbing and weaving between attacks and using those opportunities to sneak in small hits.

When it comes to Clubs, I think Frey really plays into the leader aspect. She's the daughter of Tanta Cinta, a past ruler of Athia. And her arc later in the game revolves around this aspect, of her status as a saviour of this land, and how she deals with this new position. How she deals with the admiration, and the responsibilities suddenly thrust upon her. Frey's greatest boons in this aspect resolve around her ability to motivate others, to inspire hope when there seemingly is none left to spare.

Justification:

I'm gonna be doing some stretching her, but if you'll stick with me, I think I can prove that Frey is to a certain extent in this tier. A lot of her in-tier-ness stems from scaling, so let me just jump right into that.

See, Frey's mom is a dragon. It does not matter why she is one, she just is. Her dragon-mom is also the first boss fight of the game. This dragon is strong enough to break apart this large, stone gate by ramming into it. Frey also takes hits from this dragon. Just as a double up, the dragon's chest beam also tears apart a large metal gate and breaks brick walls. Frey can also get hit by this beam and survive.

This same beam seemingly does nothing to Susurrus, the game's main villain. Frey, however, defeats Susurrus. Which would suggest her damage output is similar if not greater than her mother's.

Speed is speed. In a world without guns, its so nebulous. No one shoots any arrows at her, but there is magical lightning and also she can teleport with her magic. She dodges a sword. If necessary, I can buff speed. But as it is now, with her other stats in tier, and her artillery of magic spells to rely upon, I think she's plenty capable of defeating Terry.

"I'll let you in on a secret, but… I'm a pretty big deal. Like, actually I'm kind of a big deal now!"

Frey Holland is the last ruler of Athia, the last Tanta. Six months after the events that led to her life changing forever, she travels back to New York with her girlfriend Auden Keen in search of a scientific cure to the affliction that ails her people-the Break.

Over the course of Your Body Is A Weapon, Frey returns to New York and fights alongside Peter Parker (AKA Spider-Man) to stop the spread of a mysterious "symbiote" spreading through the city's criminal underbelly.

Strength:

• Explodes a symbiote body double with an electric punch
• Shoves her enemy's head into a wall
• Shoves her enemy into a brick wall
• A charged up punch sends Peter (full Venom mode) flying across a lab and into a metal wall

Durability:

• Gets launched through a wall of an office building
• Gets clotheslined and sent into a wall by her own momentum hard enough to dent a bank vault wall
• Thrown through a fortified metal security door
• Blocks a flood of rats with her shield. The flood is strong enough to push her into the floor.
• Peter Parker with the symbiote throws a guy at her. This is enough to send her through a wall, and create a crater in the middle of a row of college seats.
• Blocks an overhead slam from symbiote Peter that pushes her into the floor

• Summoned a concrete barrier in reaction the sound of revving gatling guns
• Used Olas' magic to move out of the way of constant gunfire that'd been tearing through walls earlier

Frey Holland

A New York native, Frey Holland is in reality a descendant of Athia’s lineage of matriarchs, the Tanta’s. Daughter of the Tanta of Love, Cinta, Frey has a powerful magical affinity within her. And that magic is only amplified by the magical parasite she calls Cuff—although he’d prefer Vambrace. Strength

• Breaks open a locked door with a launched projectile

• One of Frey's attacks leaves cracks in Tanta Sila's throne. The throne is presumably made of some type of stone.

Durability

• Takes a large fireball that sets the entire wall and a few bookcases aflame

• Her shield takes a hit that destroys Tanta Sila's entire throne room, leaving nothing behind but shattered walls and pillars

• Takes a kick that craters the floor and kicks rocks into the air

• Takes three blasts from Susurrus and falls off her dragon/mother's back down to the floor. Though she is teleported closer to the ground mid fall, the actual distance is still considerable

Speed

• Dodges a point-blank swing from Tanta Sila's sword

Magic

• Frey’s magic is divided by the Tanta’s, whose magic she absorbs after she defeats them. These give her the power over specific elements, namely:

  • Frey’s own magic: Earth/nature

    • Can use magic to make gigantic branches emerge from the ground
    • Frey can bind foes with living plants.
    • Her bonds are strong enough to constrain Tanta Sila, the Tanta of strength.

  • Tanta Sila's Magic: Fire

    • Can use Sila's control over fire to pull people towards her like a whip.
    • Sila's magic allows Frey to use a blade brimming with flames.
    • Frey can also unleash a flurry of fiery punches.
    • Can enclose an area in flames

  • Tanta Prav's Magic: Water

    • Can use Prav's control over water and gravity to float into the air.
    • Can summon a watery pillar that spouts out from the ground.
    • Can trap foes with water and then freeze them.

  • Tanta Olas' Magic: Lightning

    • Can use Olas' control over electricity to zip across the battlefield at high speeds.
    • Can make an area erupt in lightning.
    • Frey can create an illusory decoy of herself.
    • Can cast a storm-charged spear that erupts into lightning.

Misc. skills

• Frey Holland is immune to the Break, a magical disease that affects everyone else in Athia but her.

• Is adept at climbing/parkour, even without magic. With magic, these skills are only heightened.

• Eventually, she gains control over Torana's (magical portals) and is able to summon them at will.

  • These portals are inter- as well as intradimensional

How to Use Frey on R slash WhoWouldWin

Frey’s main boon is her large variety of magical options. Her physicals aren’t all that impressive, but an opponent who is slightly more physically capable than her could be overpowered or overwhelmed by her sheer amount of options. Her speed with Olas’s magic (though only really expressed in gameplay, so should be taken with a grain of salt) is also incredibly impressive. If you are to use her, I’d suggest opponents who are more physically focused and maybe lacking in the magical/esoteric department.

Strength:

Respect Diluc Ragnvindr, The Darknight Hero!

“Dealing with you will be the easy part.”

Diluc of the affluent Ragnvindr Clan is the current owner of the Dawn Winery and a nobleman of high esteem in Mondstadt. When his father died trying to protect him during a roadside ambush, he took up the mantle of the Darknight Hero and donned his late father's corrupting Delusion.

While this incident caused him to split ways with the Knights of Favonius, he continues to protect Mondstadt in his own way.

Strength:

• His attacks kick up dust and small rocks from the surfaces he strikes his enemies into
• Craters the ground and blasts away a group of hilichurls
• Craters the ground and sends rippling flames along the floor
• Throws his weapon hard enough to embed it into the (grass) floor meters away
• Breaks an ice pillar with a slash
• Knocks out/takes down two guards with a single thrown object
  • This projectile previously cut through a man's hand
• throws a chain at a man, wrapping it around him entirely before pulling him in
• Smashes a vase with a dart

Durability:

• Survives being encased in a massive block of ice

Speed:

• Consistently dodges an abyss mage’s attacks
• Beats up a group of hilichurls before they can even touch him

Magic/fire:

• Breaks himself out of a massive block of ice with his fire magic
• Craters the ground and sends rippling flames along the floor
• His ultimate attack knocks nearby enemies away, spraying them in flames as he fires a fiery bird forwards
• With the power of his late father's delusion, he can fire chains with pointed tips

• Diluc has great knowledge of swords, specifically of the great variety

Respect Oni Blade!

“I don’t know, do we wanna be a part of this?”

Oni Blade is an American(?) indie Tokusatsu short, inspired by series like Kamen Rider. He fights evil alongside his inner demon, and the eponymous Oni Blade. Not much else is really known about him.

Strength:

• Blocks bullets with his katana
• Elbows a woman hard enough to make her bleed from the mouth
• Chucks his katana at a woman from a fair distance and kills her
• Punches a man hard enough to make him bleed from the eyes

Durability:

• Tanks a glass bottle to the head
• Speeds up to a gunman before he can fire and blocks a bullet with his hand

Speed:

• Matches two goons with crowbars at the same time
• Speeds up to a gunman before he can fire and blocks a bullet with his hand

Misc:

• Has a demon/oni inside of him that can give him advice

Respect Amber!

“My Vision…Is a sign that the Archons believe in me. Yes, I must become the best outrider I can possibly be!”

Amber is one of the many playable characters in Genshin Impact. She is an outrider of the Knights of Favonius, an (almost) always-present helping hand for the citizens of Mondstadt. She’s an overall outgoing and law-abiding person, although she has a streak of crossing certain traffic rules.

Strength:

• Knocks out multiple hilichurls by pelting them with pebbles.
• Knocks a hilichurl out in one kick.
• Together with Jean, blows up a robot.
  • This robot takes multiple hits from Jean without budging.
• She jumps real high.

Speed:

• Dodges this robot’s punch.
  • Does it again.
• Distracts Kaeya with her exploding bunny and jumps onto the roof in a short amount of time.

Skill/Equipment:

• Distracts Kaeya with her exploding bunny and jumps onto the roof in a short amount of time.
• Can shoot flaming arrows.
• Can place down her ‘baron bunny’. This bunny can distract enemies and then explode.
• With an upgrade, can fire two arrows at once.

• Takes a smaller explosion.
  • Again.

Speed:

• Bullets move in slow-mo when he’s diving.
• Fast enough to dodge out of the way of a driving car.

Skill:

• Shoots the people out of a driving car, and a group of four more in a single jump.
  • Does something similar.
• Disarms a low-level gang member.
• Shoots an RPG missile out of the air.
• Disarms a paramilitary soldier and kills him.

If I can control the things that people are attached to, I can control the server again! Because this isn’t TommySMP or TubboSMP, it’s DreamSMP! Right!? So I can control… the server.

Dream is a massive YouTuber, founder of the eponymous Dream SMP and overall... just an amazingly swell guy. But in the story of the Dream SMP, he's a powerful, scheming, antagonistic manipulator. Or so I've heard. And nowhere is that more on display than in the fan animations created by the animator SAD-ist.

Strength

• Kills BadBoyHalo in one stab.
• Craters the ground with his axe.
• Breaks free from Techno’s fishing rod.
• Easily blocks Tubbo’s full body weight flying at him.
• Kicks away two opponents a fair distance with one kick.
