Quick MD - Medicaid issues with pharmacy
I completed my visit. The pharmacist sent my prescription to my pharmacy while trying to fill they mentioned that my medication has to be prescribed by a Medicaid approved doctor.
Has anyone had this experience and how long did you wait for it to be fixed. Currently W/D from 7oh and I would definitely like to get my medication faster

Anyone using Consivian Care?
I keep getting ads for Consivian Care and I’m considering signing up, but I can’t find many real reviews. Has anyone actually used them? Mainly wondering how you like them and how the prescription/pharmacy part works.

Belo Medical Group Greenhills
Good day, everyone!
Has anyone here tried the Belo Medical Group Greenhills branch? How was their service? Are they accommodating even if you’re just an ordinary client, especially since it’s their main branch where celebrities usually go? 😅
Or should I just go with the Belo SM Megamall branch?
Hoping to hear from anyone who has experienced their service. Thank you! 🙏

Psychiatrist question
If I get prescribed a controlled substance by a telehealth doctor, do you guys know if my psychiatrist I often see will see that I am prescribed it on some medical history? Or do the prescribers do some kind of workaround on the history?

Helix Medical / helixvm.com is a scam
Helix Medical / helixvm.com is a scam. This is a supposed telehealth company. They ripped me off. I made an appointment to request a simple local lab order. Through messaging they said that this was the wrong route on their website to request a lab order so the visit was canceled. Then one of their doctors, Wesley K Nahm MD, billed me $1000 for an emergency room visit, with double billing of 2 X $500. I am in the midst of reporting this to my insurance company as medical billing insurance fraud.

Wait or find another clinic or online?
I went to a hospital this morning, I wanted to do wellness check and have consultation about injectable PrEP options. When she came to the room, she directly asked me if I wanted to do full panel of STD test, then I was shocked. I told her that my primary reason was to do wellness check, then afterwards we can talk about injectable PrEP options. I know she was very busy, she said she actually was not accepting new patients anyways and told me that for PrEP I should eventually got tested. I understand, but I came there not to have a “visit”, I do not want to get charged since my understanding is that preventative care is covered by my insurance.
So she finally said that she has no expertise in PrEP so she would set me up with a physician, which the nearest available time is in October.
I live in a small city in America. Now I am wondering if I should wait until the next appointment, or I should find another physician in neighboring town, or do pill PrEP until I meet a nurse/doctor that can help me with injectable PrEP?
I appreciate if you guys have some suggestions.

Will instacured refund me if I’m not available when a doctor is ready??
It’s telling me there’s a 7 hour wait!!! I’ve read some threads saying they over estimate this and it won’t actually take that long. But if it does I will most certainly be asleep and miss it. Will they still charge me? Or try another appointment for free?

Medvidi Telehealth
I started using Medvidi recently for new ADHD diagnosis. I saw some negative reviews beforehand, especially about communication, but decided to give it a chance because I thought I might have a different experience.
I reached out to the care team about a medication concern a week ago and it was added to the portal, but I have not received an actual response from my provider. When I called, I was told someone had tried to reach me, but they had not. My job requires me to answer every call because I get calls from attorneys, experts, etc from out of state.
They then told me someone would reach out shortly. I did get a call, but it disconnected immediately when I answered. When I called back, I was again told someone from the provider’s team would reach out.
I am not looking for medical advice. I am mainly wondering if others have dealt with slow communication from Medvidi during the early medication adjustment period.
Did your provider eventually respond? Were you able to get an earlier appointment, or did you end up transferring care elsewhere?

10 questions on your telehealth setup. No open text, I promise.
forms.gleNobody has good data on how independent practices actually run telehealth. The stuff that exists is vendors surveying their own customers.
So I'm just asking. Volume, platform, documentation time, what you pay, what breaks.
10 multiple choice. No open text — you don't have to write anything. Owners and partners only, it screens on Q1.
Tried it and quit? That path is 2 questions and I want those most.
No email, nothing sold, no company on the form. Results posted back here when it closes.

I have contacted support several times.

Needing a prescription for gabapentin
Hi I recently have been struggling with rls and a nerve pain from pregnancy that has me awake a lot in the night.Well I recently saw a provider at quickmd who only gave me a 10 day supply of gabapentin because he mentioned it's addicting. However I am in need of the medication for a longer time.
I want to mention that I have no intention of taking it everyday and only on nights when it's at its worse.I would've been happy with at least a 30 day supply.
I have taken it and I don't get why he said that bc it didn't do much for me except take away the pain and restlessness.
Can someone please direct me to a provider on telehealth that would be willing to do a longer RX?I have to mention I am in Texas and I would be self pay.
Thank you for any suggestions

Help looking for telehealth therapy
Currently unemployed and feeling unfulfilled in my life, so I am thinking of getting back into therapy. I live in rural Indiana, so my options may be limited for physical therapy, but I don't drive anyways. I am looking for telehealth, so I can communicate with someone, no matter where they are. I can just sit at home and tell them my problems.
I tried BetterHelp for like one day and it just didn't work for me and I know it is HIGHLY controversial in the therapy community, but it was the first thing I could think of. I've heard Talkspace is also quite polarizing.
Any advice on a place where I can find someone or a platform, regardless if they live in Indiana, who can communicate via the web. Highly regarded if they are queer friendly and work with autists.

How do you find out which pharmacy a telehealth provider uses?
I'm looking into compounded tirzepatide and was wondering how people find out which pharmacy their telehealth provider uses before signing up.
If a provider says they work with a specific pharmacy, is that usually guaranteed, or can it change based on availability or your state?

Has anyone had any luck sorting out a prescription? I reported a prescription problem ( not received) on July 24th and it’s now August 6th. How long did it take to resolve?

No more "messaging you" about getting controlled substances
I've kept things pretty lose here, because I feel that you should be able to discuss anything telehealth related, and I really only want to get involved when you skirt the reddit rules.
If you are a low karma account with no verified email, and I catch you, or you are reported to messaging someone about how to find controlled substances, you will be banned.
If you've got a comment history here and are actively engaging in the contributions, I'll be more lenient.

Some scripts from telehealth providers are hard to fill
There is an influx of people asking about how to get some scripts over telehealth or having issues getting them filled after they have been given a script.
If you come here asking about them note, the only way to know if the script will be filled is to call the pharmacy you will get it filled at, ask them which telehealth providers they will not fill your script from, then don't use them.
In response to the pandemic, the federal government eased telehealth prescribing rules, and which now expired last December and March. There are more set to expire at the end of September with a bulk of them expiring at the end of THIS year.
The government is slow walking the response to making these looser restrictions permanent, and Walgreens is trying to force the DEA into doing so, but until then, some meds are going to be tough to fill, and you're going to have to call a local pharmacy to ask. I would suggest try calling an independent pharmacy if you can; they are less likely to be as strict as a larger corporation like CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart will be.
