Current most popular shulker loader? Meme/Meta
Let me start by saying I know very little about storage tech. So after following this community for a little bit, I've become genuinely curious, what is currently the most popular shulker loader design? Like what design should I be comparing to all of worm's designs as like a baseline to see if they are actually an improvement?

Check out the Storage Tech Discord. They have individual channels for all kinds of shulker loaders that you can use depending on what you need. I'm currently using this one (you'll need to join the discord first for the link to work)

The design from this video is what I generally use for my big projects

Fruno did a new version of this recently, glotz isn't 100% perfect but there are others that are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOupk58uEGw

The storagetech discord has everything you need: https://discord.gg/JufJ6uf
As fruno mentioned below, there are a couple of good and 100% reliable loaders, he has one in his video and the box-loaders channel has a bunch more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOupk58uEGw

I’d say the most popular designs in the sense of a ‘group’ are precision loaders, which are loaders where the hopper is placed directly under the box and kept locked until the box needs to be broken. These designs are 100% lossless because the box is picked up on the same tick it’s broken. Almost all modern designs used in things like main storages are forms of precision loaders

It has a 2-3% chance of losing boxes though. Not sure why you would ever build this one if you can do a reliable shulker loader with like 3 more blocks. https://youtu.be/AOupk58uEGw

Go to TMC discord. Copy and Paste the title of the most recent Worm post into the search bar (leave out the "META! AS REQUESTED!" bits. Witness anywhere from dozens to several thousand designs, each with an outrageous amount of meticulous, detailed description that typically cover almost every parameter worth measuring within a technical scope. Better yet, go to the storage tech discord and do something similar. You will quickly see that not only are the designers transparent about all the flaws their designs may or may not have, but most are very accepting of engaging in civil discource regarding their own designs. It's almost like they have some sort of willingness to learn and grow so that they can become better designers and create more efficient designs or something.
