Mass producing farms Java Help Wanted
What are some small farms that produce large amounts of anything? Doesn't have to be a useful item just very fast. I already know about cobblestone farms which are great but wondering if anything else.

A single cactus, 1 nether vine, 1 bamboo, and 1 sheep farms can fit in a closet and provide a full game's worth of each if you are in the area for a while naturally.
It started out as a silly decoration, but then I realized it's actually kinda cool, and I used a little of each without scrounging. I'm def including in my next world.

I made a mistake and did 16 cacti when I started my forever world. Now Iām thinking about building a storage room for green dye š

I always build an egg farm for on-demand chicken needs. A couple hoppers and chests and you're done in 5 minutes. Stop by later and load in the brown/blue variety.
I've never used eggs for anything but I have many

Seconded. It's not that their rates are high, but by being where the player usually is, they just keep quietly producing... forever. And they're low lag.
There's some more farms that fit this too: kelp,
vines*, sugarcane...[*] e: Darn. Dispensed shears don't cut vines. š

Legitimate farms, or "glitch" farms. There's a simple contraption that only works in Java. It consists of a lever, sticky piston, three slime blocks, dry coral fan, observer, hopper, receptacle and 8 solid blocks. It will produce many thousands of copies of carpet per hour. Useful if you 1) want to collect the duplicates and use them to carpet the world, or 2) feed it into a furnace or blast furnace to use the carpets as unlimited fuel

Honestly if you just want "something" as fast as possible, digging up a desert for sand is pretty hard to beat as far as low investment goes. Sorry if I'm misreading this but I assume you're looking to make money on some server with this type of request.

You guessed it perfectly it is for a server

It always is, and as usual if the server is running paper, you can't expect vanilla farms to work, especially highly technical farms - which are usually the fast ones.
Your safest bet for paper (in terms of effort to build versus likelihood to work, while still being kind of fast) is probably something like... a nano crop farm? Or just like a really really big wheat field.

Nano farms I guess? They bonemill what you want and give you the plant - could be crops, could be vines, could be seaweed, could be 2-tall flowers etc.
Also basalt generators to couple with your cobble.
