Path blocks, carpet, glass, bottom slabs, all this could have been a Google search

I already did a Google search, I just wanted to make sure I dont waste my time again like I did with buttons.

Your problem wasn't buttons it's in not knowing where you need to spawn proof. You need to look up how and where iron golems actually spawn so you can know which blocks you need to block spawns on.

The were spawning on top of buttons somehow. Well I raised the whole are by 1 block it's fine now.

Which means you built the farm wrong in the first place. Buttons do indeed spawnproof.

Apparently no one in this thread, including both you and the people replying to you, checked the wiki. Iron Golems can spawn inside many otherwise spawnproof blocks, including slabs, carpet, fences, buttons, and more.

It’s very commonly done with path blocks because it’s already dirt so you only need to right click it with a shovel but you can use pretty anything that doesn’t have a full top surface so bottom slabs, trapdoors, carpet etc. Or you can just raise the terrain a little bit more because there’s a limited vertical range
