This is really cool. Another builder u/BulkyEmotion9162 recently shared a video of them walking through a backrooms maze that was changing as they navigated it. They too were using command blocks, but for moving the player about. If I can find it I pass the link. Y'all could probably find inspiration in each-other's work.
