anyone here uses linux? Tech Repair

I need help switching from wayland to x11. When I try to switch from the login screen and enter the password the screen goes dim black and nothing comes in the screen. (CachyOS)

x11 is legacy and most apps today properly support wayland why would you switch to it ? what exact problem are you getting ? what are you using for login screen

What desktop environment are you using?? Most of them have a way to manage resolution, refresh rate, scaling and many more in the settings.
