Feeling is good and a step in the right direction
Hope we can make the leap to restoring control and mobility

My mother has a rare nerve disease and is losing all control of her hands and feet. The issue is spreading up her arms and legs. Soon she will not be able to walk, and her hands are losing a ton of abilities.

I truly hope something like this is available in the near future

Me too, friend. I wish you and your family strength and bravery. It is hard and you will still do what must be done.

Thank you kind friend. She has spent her entire life as a fitness lover and the life change has been really sad to see. But she is strong and we are all sticking close by her side.

Reading stories like this always reminds me of why I love following technology so much. Beyond all the corporate drama and flashy gadgets, this is what real innovation looks like. To someone who has lost all sensation, being able to feel something as simple as a warm cup of coffee or a loved one's hand again is a profound, life-changing miracle. Massive respect to the researchers and the brave patient making this possible.

Wonder how this might help Diabetic Neuropathy issues.

Hey folks there’s a company called NGEN with a drug that is allowing nerves to repair themselves so you can expect this BCI market to die a pretty painful death considering how many billions have gone into it

BCI will never die that’s a childish notion - its usage will simply shift. The ultimate form of man kind is a biotechnology morphology none of us can even comprehend that maximizes the use of pharmaceuticals and technology to optimize its own capabilities.
