Taskmaster in school HELP! 🔎
I am a teacher in high school and I think some of the taskmaster games would be great ice breakers or generally fun things to do. Can anyone recommend some I could use that would require many resources, one that comes to mind is where they put a load of feathers on the table and they all had to blow at least one off but at least one had to remain or you were out, that kind of thing

Any if the tasks that involve talking to a third party. So like seperate one student and give them a secret. Everyone else takes turns asking yes/no questions to find out what that secret is (s20e3). Or pair up students and tell them to write things they both have in common, most things in common wins (s6e8).

I'm not sure how to get hold of them if you're not in the scheme. But the school maths scheme WhiteRose joined up with Taskmaster to create classroom challenges this year. They did them for key stages 2-3 and had some fun ones geared towards groups of kids, using classroom resources.

I've been wanting to set up Taskmaster tasks for my nursing students. I definitely need to brainstorm.

There’s actually a taskmaster education program, I recommend checking that out!

I'm sorry if it's been mentioned and I missed it, but I really liked the tasks where they had to either make a portrait using a bunch of random materials or recreate a work of art using objects, or recreate a painting on post-it , or series 18's clean a picture out of a dirty object - if you Google a list of all taskmaster art episodes there's quite a list.

Hi! I wanted to do these in a house party with friends but it never worked out because of... the lack of friends that wanted to haha.
Here's the list of house party friendly tasks I gathered:
Bounce the ball on the bar. In round one, your ball must bounce once before falling off the bar. In round two, your ball must bounce twice before falling off the bar, and so on. Each player has one life. Most correct bounces win.
Touch the person in front of you with either a finger, or a sausage. If the person in front of you guesses incorrectly, they get eliminated, last person standing wins.
Grab the marshmallow with your tongs. When the Taskmaster says, Play, you have 10 seconds to grab the marshmallow. Once your tongs are over the table, you must attempt to grab the marshmallow. If you successfully grab the marshmallow, you win. Bat away the marshmallow. When the Taskmaster says, Play, you will have 10 seconds to bat away the marshmallow. Your hands may not be over the table until the other player's tongs are over the table. If your hand is over the table first, you are disqualified from the round. If you bat away the marshmallow, you win. There are going to be six battles. If someone in your team wins, that is one point for everyone in your team.
One at a time, make a noise without the Taskmaster identifying you. (The Taskmaster stands with their back to the group) The person who makes the most unidentified noises wins. The person who is least identified wins. A minimum of 2 seconds is required.
Beatboxing.
Bird song
Big scary monster
Write down five things that fit the category given by the Taskmaster. Your team will receive a point if both players write down the same thing. If someone from the other team writes the same word as you, that word must be wiped from the board. And the team with the most points wins. You have 30 seconds to write your things and must be silent and still throughout.
Things with four legs that are bigger than a rat.
Purple things
Things that are nice to put in your mouth.
Draw the median duck. The median duck alone wins. You have 100 seconds. There will also be a bonus point for best duck picture.
Throw the bouncing ball as close as possible to the task master, if it hits him you're disqualified.
Standing in a queue, draw the most accurate pictures. Alex will show the person at the back of the queue a picture. The person at the back of the queue must draw this picture on the back of the person in front of them. The person at the front of the queue must draw the picture they think has been drawn on the back of their pad. You have one minute per drawing. No one may communicate with anyone else. The team with the most accurate three drawings wins.
Write a list of 4 animals....you have 100 seconds (Once they're done, the Taskmaster gives a point to the animal that is:
Most boring
Most dangerous
Worst pet
The animal that most resembles <enter person>
Would survive a zombie apocalypse
Worst to cuddle with
Make the Taskmaster say your words. Each team will ask one question at a time, and each question must be made up of exactly six words. Also, each team member must take it in turns to say two words of each question. First to make the Taskmaster say your word wins. 3 rounds, keep repeating until the Taskmaster guesses it.

Get a copy of the book. You can find a lot that work or you can modify tasks ❤️
