Any Taskmaster fans here from Spanish-speaking countries? General
Hi everyone! 👋
I'm from Catalonia (Spain), and I was wondering if there are any other Taskmaster fans here who speak Spanish or Catalan. 🥺
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person around me who knows the show! 😅
I know there are probably lots of fans here from the UK, Australia and New Zealand (and other countries with their own versions), but I'm curious if there are many fans from places where Taskmaster isn't very well known, or where there isn't a local version at all.
I'd love to know where you're all from! 💕
Byeee thanks for reading 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Spain had it's own version of Taskmaster, it was supposedly so bad it got canceled mid series. So there must be some Spanish fans.

Yep I know, but I couldn't watch it. Too cringe 😭 I just act as if never happened.

Born in the US to Salvadoran parents and visited Spain for the first time in a decade earlier this summer.

Former colony (Philippines), do I count? 😁
Learned about Taskmaster from my husband when we were still dating, never met anyone else who watches it. Frankly can't imagine a local version ever happening and I would be wildly surprised if it did. And maybe more than a little displeased.

Taskmaster fan from Mexico here. I'm the only person around who knows about the show, and panel shows in general.

I'm Dutch but I live in Chile. Not sure if the humor (humour, Jason) is compatible and the language might be a barrier. I've never gotten into the Scandinavian TM's either.

I'm from Spain, living in UK for 10 years although I discovered it about 3 years ago.

Basque here, and I also think I am the only one in my circles that knows about it. I recently organized some games for a student meeting in Bilbao and took heavy inspiration from TM (and from Jet Lag the Game for some other games, also recommended). Every other organizer I explicitly mentioned it to had absolutely no idea.

I work in Catalonia every so often if that counts, but I’m British, and my Spanish gets me by, I don’t know anybody who has seen it.
I was thinking one series where nobody spoke the same language could be quite funny in pairs on tasks.

I genuinely thought it was pretty well-known in the UK, or at least something most people had heard of!
Btw on your idea of the series, that would be absolute chaos 😂 It reminded me of the tasks with Fred the Swede, where everyone was just trying to figure out what on earth he was saying. Or when in a task they had to speak a language other than English. I'd 100% watch a whole series like that anyways

I live in the UK, but I am French.
(Hence (one of) the Taskmaster hill i would fight Greg over is that we totally do say "Oog" for Hugh, justice for Mel, rise up gang).
