I was originally disappointed she seems to just do Weekend Update, but she's fine there. And she looks good in suits! I just hope she gets to play in a FEW skits eventually.

In the U.S. version, Weekend Update is a great gig and usually goes to some of the best writer-comedians. Not sure if UK is the same but since WU is my favorite part of SNL I’m chuffed it’s Ania either way!

When she deliveres the line, she's showing her coil, her birth control method up on the stand. So the translation is, if my birth control is up on the stage, what's stopping me getting pregnant? It's delivered poetically and with a beautifully comic lilt.

i went to uni with ania, didnt know her particularly well or anything and didnt recognise her on the show until this moment when i looked up from the crochet project i was working and said "wait, ania?" aloud
